Grove Methodist’s original sanctuary is made of native Chester County serpentine stone and is beautiful! It saddens me to see several houses on route 202 south of West Chester, near Westminister Presbyterian Church, that were also very old and built of Serpentine have been torn down! The quarry (non operating) for the Serpentine is about 1 mile from these houses but it’s criminal that they were destroyed!
Duling Kurtz is another beautiful home and barn!
