  1. caroldwyer – A freelance photographer and blogger, I'm also a non-traditional graduate of Cabrini College with a B.A. in communication, minor in English and concentration in film studies. As a student, I was a staff writer, photographer and copy editor for the Loquitur. In my final semester, I assisted in promoting campus literary events for Woodcrest Literary Magazine. I love travel, historic places, nature, wildlife and the arts. I hope to be involved in some way with one of those areas throughout my media career. Currently, I'm pursuing my M.F.A. in creative writing and publishing. Read my film blog at http://cdwyerfilminspired.wordpress.com - and my literary blog at http://cdwyerbookishgrad.wordpress.com

Beautiful architecture! I’ve past this a few times before and saw just quick glimpses of it.

I love this place and I wish the Tabas family who owns it would do something to ensure its preservation.

Also and related is there is an abandoned train station close to Glen Loch/ Loch Aerie that has been restored by a local photographer – it is his studio and home – the station was called Glen Loch – I think that is very cool

      • Agree! when it went to auction, i thought, Finally! Someone will restore it and love it….but the Tabas family rejected the bid amt. (around 800,000). So the house continues to wait —-at least it has a decent roof now to protect, no longer slate but watertight…..
