meanwhile in pennsyltucky….err…west goshen

So the other day I wrote about West Goshen. And what I saw in the recent meeting video was completely appalling. And Supervisor Ashley GagME is ridiculous. Ashley recently declined again to be interviewed by Barry Dee on WCHE.

Truthfully and ironically, he was trying to be fair and give Ashley GagME a chance to tell her side of this story. However, there was something in an email from her that basically translated to me was “Well you’re not a West Goshen resident, so I’m not going to speak to you.” But then she does she really speak to her residents anyway? Also full disclosure I thought she was ridiculous the first time she ran for office, but hey West Goshen is not my country, not my people.

West Goshen as a whole is a perennial cesspool as far as municipal government no matter what political party has all the toys at that moment and I feel sorry for her residents. (Pssst tell their solicitor that the First Amendment ain’t dead yet, hear?)

Anyway, the snippet of on Barry Dee’s show today on WCHE is embedded. I will post the entire podcast when it becomes available but I took a little recording of this segment so people didn’t have to wait.

And basically, I think the reason West Goshen is doing this whole thing with the EV chargers to begin with is because of grant money, aren’t they? But gosh, I guess they need to fill the coffers for “squirrel time“ again anyway, right?

So Supervisor Ashley GagME? Your spotlight and a spotlight on West Goshen Township continues and you and your counterparts give Democrats a bad name. In truth, you’re just petty dictators of the breakfast table.

  1. To be clear, here is the exchange between myself and public official, Ashely Gagne:
    Ms. Gagne:

Today I interviewed Charlie Golden about the EV infrastructure proposal that WGT Supervisors will be voting on next week. In fairness, I would am offering you the chance to come on and speak about the proposed requirement.

The show is Fridays from 11-Noon. Perhaps this coming Friday would work for you?

    Her Response:
Thank you for your invitation, however I must respectfully decline.

    I responded:
    Ms. Gagne:

Thanks for the response. For clarification, do you mean you respectfully decline for this week’s show or for this specific issue?

I sent the email below 3 days ago. Perhaps you didn’t get it? Would you please respond? Thank you.

    Her response:
I did see your email. Can you tell me about yourself and about your show? I have to admit, I haven’t heard of it. Are you a resident of West Goshen Township?

    Ashley Gagné

My response with answers to her questions:
WCHE is a radio station located in West Chester, Pennsylvania since 1963, serving the Chester County residents and especially West Chester and the surrounding municipalities. Visit WCHE.com and listen to the podcasts of previous shows. It is exactly what the name suggests. It’s about politics, for the most part locally. I am a lifelong resident of Chester County, not that that should make any difference. After all, not everyone in the County is lifelong, like you and I, right?

I invite people to come on my show to talk about issues happening in Chester County and offer officials to also come on and give their perspective. I certainly don’t want to be unfair. I even offer second chances, just as I did today.

I hope I have answered your questions succinctly. When can I get you on the show?

    Ms. Gagne’s finally response:
I appreciate the offer to appear on your show, but I must respectfully decline. If you are interested in learning more about the EV Ordinance, feel free to review the minutes from meetings during which it was discussed over the past several months.

Have a great day, Ashley Gagné

    I closed with this:
    Thank you for responding.

She is still welcome to come on the show and I look forward to it.

I’m sure. Because you are fair. I’ve known you a long time at this point, but she’s limited and won’t because she’s a puppet politician scared of talking to people.
