  1. I live on Pine Dr. in Chester Springs. I have had 5 years of dealing with a vacant property next door. I have been all but ignored by the West Vincent Township Board of Directors. I am neither for nor against them, politically. However, I am very upset as a tax paying member of this township, that my neighbors and I have been, as I stated, ignored on this issue. I even went to the trouble of writing and getting an ordinance about abandoned and vacant properties on the books a couple years ago. Had they enforced this, the township could have collected a significant amount from the property. Maybe not right away, but when the house went into settlement. I have had to contact Chester County myself on several occasions. As recently as last week due to an aggressive form of mosquito that made their home in the pool that came out of the ground last spring. I will be attending the next West Vincent Township meeting on 10/28 at 730 pm. If you have any interest in this story, I would be happy to talk with you about it.

Thank you for taking your time to read this.

I have really enjoyed your photographs. I am an amateur photographer and I applaud your success in this field.

    Warmest regards,

    • I don’t know what I could do to help you, but have you talked to John Jacobs who is running for supervisor? State representative? Local TV stations like NBC10? That would be my suggestion. You live there and have standing. I have posted your comment in the hopes of drawing attention to it. Are there photos of said abandoned property? Who owns it?
