See the depression in the foreground with the trees in it. A long, long, time ago (1800) that was the location of a brand new iron ore mine. The iron is so heavily laden on that property that if the water treatment system is turned off and a glass of water is drawn, the iron molecules will attract each other and rust will start to precipitate to the bottom of the glass. I do not know what year the mining stopped. On the other end of Eagle, were the graphite mines.
