I love this place and I wish the Tabas family who owns it would do something to ensure its preservation.
Also and related is there is an abandoned train station close to Glen Loch/ Loch Aerie that has been restored by a local photographer – it is his studio and home – the station was called Glen Loch – I think that is very cool

Agree! when it went to auction, i thought, Finally! Someone will restore it and love it….but the Tabas family rejected the bid amt. (around 800,000). So the house continues to wait —-at least it has a decent roof now to protect, no longer slate but watertight…..
