We’re having some hazy days of summer but it’s not because the birds are chirping and it’s a sunny day with a breeze. It’s because of the Canadian wildfires.

The video above was from the today show this morning. My sister sent this photo from New York City this morning:

Even here we are seeing it and smelling it. It smells like a campfire outside and has since yesterday. Yesterday it freaked me out a bit because if you live with any woods, there was a burn warning.
Today I’ve been in an out but mostly in because when you’re outside the air is heavy and it’s smoky you have allergies or asthma. It’s a little hard to breathe, and I have allergies and it’s really bothering my allergies and my eyes are burning.
In different parts of Chester County the conditions are worse. I have a friend who lives down around Oxford who said they couldn’t believe the haze and just the smell of like somebody’s campfire or barbecue only it’s not. As a matter of fact, my friends, all over Chester County are commenting on it, as well as other areas in the region
You can go to this air now website and put in your ZIP Code and see how the air quality is where you live: https://www.airnow.gov/national-maps
Anyway, this is yet another example of how climate change is actually very real.
