and then they practiced their best beauty pageant wave….

I am so glad they paint their nails like girlfriends…and storm the US Capitol. And goodness knows bless their hearts they keep Botox in business. Also love, love, love their environmental positions and artful use of hair spray and hair color not found in nature. But hey, that is THEIR American dream, and they are entitled to it. Sadly, we can’t live OUR lives without THEM trying to control it. And that is the overall point of this isn’t it?

My burning question is actually did anyone wear a feather tutu with heels to the conference or is that only for laundromats?

But before I get to the screenshots that say it all, I am going to suggest that everyone stream Glamorous on Netflix starring Kim Cattrall.

Now for the screenshots. I had a giggle.

  1. A question was asked: Is Moms for Liberty anti-LBGTQ?
“No, Moms for Liberty is not anti-LGBTQ. Moms for Liberty is a grassroots organization that works to protect the civil liberties of parents and children and to uphold the U.S. Constitution. The organization focuses on areas such as freedom, civil liberties, parental rights, and education. The organization does not focus on any specific issue related to the LBGTQ community”
The response above does not correspond to their actions

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moms for Liberty is an American political organization that advocates against school curriculums that mention LGBT rights, race and ethnicity, critical race theory, and discrimination,[1][2][3][4] while multiple chapters have also campaigned to ban books, that address gender and sexuality, from school libraries.[1][5][6] The group began by campaigning against COVID-19 protections in schools, including mask and vaccine mandates.[1]

The group is influential within the Republican Party.[7] Many of the group’s chapters across the U.S. have forged close ties to right-wing extremist groups, including the Proud Boys and Three Percenters, as well as sovereign citizen, QAnon, and Christian nationalist organizations.[8] In 2023, the Southern Poverty Law Center, a civil rights organization that tracks extremists, termed Moms for Liberty a far-right extremist organization.[9][10][11][12]
In December 2022, the “Moms for Liberty Miami” was one of the organizations of an anti-LGBT “Protect the Children” rally in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; the rally, which was attended by about 20 members of the Proud Boys, was promoted by right-wing outlets, such as Breitbart, OANN, and the avowedly antisemitic Goyim Defense League.[23]
The group’s 2023 annual conference in June prominently featured Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy.[24]
In June 2023, the Hamilton County, Indiana, chapter of Moms for Liberty printed a quote from Adolf Hitler on the top of the front page of their monthly newsletter. The chapter chairwoman later apologized.[25][26]

I do hope that whoever reads the few chapters here will go to Wikipedia, Moms for Liberty and read more…
