happy international women’s day 2024. here’s a story to watch.

It’s International Women’s Day. It gets some lip service as a day, but it doesn’t get tons of recognition. I think sometimes as far as women have come in this country and in this world we’re still looking at a long road ahead. And I say that as someone who isn’t considered a “Women’s Libber” so to speak.

I will start with the national political stage. Last night we saw that blight on Congress, Marjorie Taylor Green, behave like she was ringside at mud wrestling. It was the State of the Union address, and it doesn’t matter what you think of the current sitting president or not, you don’t behave like that. So that woman is nothing but an embarrassment to women world wide.

But I’m going to pick a local woman and her story as one to watch today on International Women’s Day. Her name is Jackie Schaffer. She lives in Chester County. You can see part of her story in that video I found on YouTube below from Pissed Consumer.

She has a son with severe disabilities. She’s trying to save her house. I don’t know her, but I’ve been following her story for a couple of years and I just keep coming back to the same conclusion: no one is going to put all this stuff out there if there is not truth to it.

People always think of deed stealing only going on in poor neighborhoods in major metropolitan cities like Philadelphia. But that’s only because those are the only places that make the news.

You can follow her Facebook group if you’re interested- it’s called Chester County Property Rights.
