what doesn’t narberth borough get?

So I finally got around to watching the most recent Narberth Borough Council Meeting. I just hadn’t had the time before now.

I don’t get these people. I really don’t get these people. First of all their borough council president dresses like a shlub. There is business casual and there’s dude -can’t- you -really -brush -your -hair -better- if -you’re -going -to -wear -it -long -and -iron -your -T-shirt -casual.

And then you have a couple of people you hear talking, especially when they’re discussing Sabine Park, who say things like (paraphrasing) “Well I’m not sure that I’m really actually going vote for this when the time comes, but this is what I would do if I was doing XYZ.”

Gosh all of Narberth Borough Council appears to be a little bit preggers here?

Sooooo there’s the factoid that it is a park. It is land that was deeded for a park over 100 years ago correct? so why are they even contemplating this in the first place? Are they completely oblivious to the fairly significant case law in Pennsylvania alone about selling parks for development? Isn’t their solicitor aware?

I mean it’s pretty simple isn’t it? If land is deeded and donated to municipality for a park then it is technically land that belongs to the residents and the residents don’t want it developed do they? That’s one thing that’s just something that is bugged me since the beginning. Yet there they are again discussing what kind of zoning would be better if they sell the land.

And they as of now have spent who knows how much money having it looked at by Penoni so that it can be appraised properly…..and then you have these borough council people who were saying well we’re just looking at all the options. What is it they don’t get that it’s a park?

Sigh….it gets better and I encourage everyone to watch the video because the shlub who is the borough council president is arguing for massive mixed use projects on part of the site and then also says how nobody wants any single-family homes any longer. I have to ask him what is it he is living in on the Narberth- Wynnewood border exactly, an apartment?

I just don’t get it but hey I don’t get the extremely unattractive development that has occurred in Narberth already. Like The Elm. Named for a tree and are there any sizable plants in sight? Or just developer specials? And look, it’s the same Legoland construction seen everywhere….even along I-95 in Philthadelphia.

But hey Narberth and development? Odd relationship? Remember Narberth Arbors?

Now you all remember when I wrote about Sabine Park recently I had one of the borough council people kind of come at me for talking about it, so what is it exactly they are doing just spending taxpayer money on appraisals for shits and giggles ?

Anyway I’m sad for Narberth. Here’s hoping more residents wake up.

#SaveSabinePark

for april fool’s will it be shady as always, west goshen township?

Oh yes, it’s never dull whenever West Goshen is trying to pull something shady as shit.

The latest? They want to erase their meeting videos.

You know just when you think this truly bass ackwards Pennsyltucky municipality has nothing left to make you say WTF, oops they did it again.

Start copying all those videos West Goshen residents if you wish to preserve whatever shady ass record exists or literally they will make a giant April Fool’s joke out of all of you. And oh yeah, get thee to the APRIL 1, 2025 meeting starting at 6 PM. Pack the halls.

this post isn’t about scrapple

I’m really thinking that we’re living in a world gone mad. Every day there’s something else it has gotten bad enough that I don’t even really watch the news any longer.

I used to love to watch the news to learn what was going on in other parts of the country and other parts of the world, let alone our own region. But you start with our own dysfunctional country imitating 1930s Germany pre-World War II right on through to whatever is happening in Europe and elsewhere, and I just am oversaturated with the ugliness of it all.

And that truly is what should terrify all of us. In the US, we don’t have elected officials that represent us. I don’t care what political persuasion you’re discussing. It’s all about extremism and whatever agenda of someone else’s they are pushing like whoever thought a crazy man from South Africa would be the Rasputin to a United States president? But here we are.

And then you have all of the people who are claiming they wish to be part of a movement that saves our country from socialism and communism, and a dictatorship yet they’re feeding into that narrative? And oh yeah Chester County did y’all know that there is a resurrection of the Chester County branch of the Democratic Solcialists of America? Yep and I have been told they have a zoom call this week.

So last week we had people in Muslim garb protesting outside the personal house of I guess Penn’s new president on Cherry Lane in Wynnewood . I have no problems with a peaceful protest, but I do have a problem with people protesting outside someone’s home like that. Other people live in that neighborhood. And then they don’t feel secure. And they were going up his driveway. It was in the Daily Pennsylvania that’s not OK.

http://www.thedp.com/article/2025/03/penn-jameson-house-palestinian-demonstration

It’s like a few years ago now when that Chester County lawyer was one of the lawyers representing Trump And people basically protested on his road by writing stuff on the street or whatever. That was wrong because that was a neighborhood of a lot of people not just one guy.

https://nbcphiladelphia.app.link/Km20ingK0Rb

And what was even uglier is on social media people shared photos of the protesters outside this home and people were making comments like telling those people to go back to their own country. I mean, seriously are we that ignorant now?

And then this weekend when I posted the picture of scrapple and where I had gone a few hours later, I received a private message from a really nice person who asked me if I was aware of the politics of one of the family members of the establishment we had visited. I said yes because I am aware of this person’s politics and I also know that they’re not involved in the food establishment from day to day.

This person said they choose not to go there because of this other person’s politics. And I respect their position but at the same time I don’t like being made to feel guilty that because I went out for breakfast for once and happened to go to this place and that I somehow did something wrong. it’s not that I’m not sympathetic, but there’s nothing about politics in the restaurant. I just went there for brunch. A local business with no politics to be seen.

And then there’s the amusing case of one of these people that likes to say I am such a terrible horrible person seems to be using me for part of his political platform for his run for supervisor. I don’t live in his municipality, so I’m not quite sure how I am part of his political platform.

Mob mentality. That is social media in a nutshell.

And sheer craziness.

Then today I see a post from a woman who is essentially an anti-vaxxer for her cat. Posting to see if she really has to get her cat a rabies shot. Umm yeah, state law. Every animal I’ve ever had has gotten a rabies vaccine because it’s the law and it’s responsible pet ownership, like spay and neuter. I have had vets that have skipped certain vaccines when a pet is dying for example and has next to no time left, but never the rabies. I don’t get it, but hey, measles is a thing again, right?

Then there is the woman who is posting in parenting groups about her 13 year old daughter being pregnant. The post I saw asks if anyone has lawyer referrals. Wait what? How about how did a 13 year old get there? Has she seen a doctor? And it takes two to tango so IS it the boy’s fault? And then there were all of the comments about how she should just have the baby and put it up for adoption and that blew my mind too. She’s 13. I realize kids sneak around, but again, not driving, she’s 13. How about how is your daughter doing? Does she have anyone to talk to? That is going to be a kid who needs support. How about start there?

Then there are the love notes I get. Like take today:

I wish the cancer had taken you, nazi. Playing the victim after you commit an act of blatant racism and antisemitism with a smile on your smug face. Poor woman.

Again, the funny thing is this person thinks they are masked and can’t be revealed. They can be.

Apparently they didn’t like a recent post:

So ok. you don’t like my post. Then don’t read it in East Jibip where you live. You don’t know me, I don’t know you, how do you decide I am a Nazi and racist? Neat trick calling me a Nazi since a late relative of mine had non Jewish German relatives sent to some camp during WWII because they were sympathetic to those being persecuted. Does this person think only those who were Jewish were sent to the camps? Ummm no.

And this person wishes the cancer took me? Sweet! Would that be breast or skin? Or both. Can I get that on a Hallmark Card please?

I don’t live on a reality TV show, yet this is how I feel. Between the ridiculous drama stirred up by people who tell outright Fibber McGees about you and you have never met them or their family and don’t want to, add the ones who are the backdoor gaslighters terrified that their truth will emerge who manipulate people on social media, to the combinations of the two who are constantly whipping up new Facebook hornet’s nests to further their personal vendettas, it is quite remarkable this world we live in.

And it’s not just our regional corner of the universe, it’s all over. I have a friend down south who must have said something somewhere and now she is getting hate from someone they don’t know who not only doesn’t live where they live, but like ridiculously far away who just decided to interject themselves.

I have dealt with the bullshit for years and it’s enough is enough time. No one has to agree with anyone on social media but people don’t just get to randomly harass or incite people to do harm just because. It’s the whole mob mentality thing. Now the irony with some of those who attack me? They start these groups and pages supposedly where community can love on one and other….provided you follow only their lead. It is very surreal to be sent screenshots from these groups to see them talking about me. They don’t know me, I choose not to know them, some have been removed from groups I am part of or my blog’s Facebook page for essentially not following basic rules. Often the basic rules involve basic manners.

People act like wild animals on social media, yet I am the problem? Oh I am sorry, no thank you I don’t care to sit and listen to you denigrate me with a vivid assortment of F-bombs that are usually astonishingly vulgar.

So there we have it.

Cheers!

life in the fast lane

Oh hello dear readers! How are you today on this now cloudy slightly dampish Saturday?

Did you know that I live life in the fast lane?

It’s kind of a no, not really response, but I am once again, fascinated by people whom I choose to have nothing to do with being so fascinated with me.

First up this week was an important local meeting where I shared meeting information for residents who wanted to know the details of the meeting. So I provided the location, and the fact that they could access it on Zoom.

After I posted the comments started. Today when you give people the information they’re seeking and they say they couldn’t possibly make time for what they say is important to them. It’s their community, they expect change, yet they don’t want to participate where they live.

I literally said to one person that they could Zoom it, and I continued that you don’t have to have your camera on or your audio on. You can simply have the meeting on and the volume turned up so when it gets to the part that is of interest, you can come watch it. I literally do that a lot because no, we always don’t have time to go to meetings in person or sit and listen to an entire Zoom meeting. This person subsequently replied along the lines of wow what a privileged statement and how is that a privileged statement?

How is giving someone the meeting information they wanted and giving them their options a privileged statement? Or was it the fact that I said OK I was just providing the information, and said people make time for what’s important to them?

People in communities everywhere often demand to know what’s going on in their communities because heaven forbid they look at their municipal website. But when you give them the information they seek, they couldn’t possibly, they’re too busy, they have kids.

Again, my response is pretty simple. That’s their choice but people make time for what’s important to them.

Is this something I’m supposed to do for them? Or the ones who hold up the yellow flag for kids. Do they think they are the only people who have ever had children or worked while having children or had children and did other things?

Again, people make time for what’s important to them. And the ones who want everyone else to do everything for them, don’t like it when you point that out.

Next up was an unsolicited private message from a local politician, who also happens to be a lawyer.

Let’s begin it doesn’t take a genius to read an agenda. It’s pretty straightforward. These municipal agendas tell you what’s going on in a meeting and when they include a packet with documents that further explain what’s going on in a meeting it’s not so hard to interpret is it? I love it when you get the feels like but of course it’s not an intimidation message when you point out what’s happening at an upcoming meeting…. especially when said municipality has documents to back up exactly what is happening and they are all over their website if you know where to look so how does that work, please?

Then you have the social media circus that you have to wonder is this just being propped up by a particular gaslighting guru?

There’s also one person whom I don’t really talk about except once in a while to ask with genuine curiosity about the obsession with me and other local individuals.

When you encounter someone online, who seems dangerously obsessive, are you supposed to never ask questions about that?

I also can’t figure people out who who participate in the barrage of verbal diarrhea on social media who are mostly people that have been taken off of my blog’s Facebook page or something like that … all people I just simply choose not to be around even virtually on social media.

I really don’t get it.

And then there’s this whole thing about the fact that I am showing up on political platforms like I’m a candidate to defeat except I’m not running for office.

These extraordinarily damaged people literally sit on social media platforms and bash me and others like we are a Bravolebrity. Andy Cohen, where’s our bonus?

I did learn a new term today. Someone said I had TDS. I had no idea what that was so I looked it. it’s called Trump Derangement Syndrome. He’s kind of not my guy and I don’t actually talk about him a lot so doesn’t that actually apply to them because they love him so much?

And then there are the psycho assholes with casseroles types who say I’m an operative for the Democratic Party. What’s even funnier are the Democrats who say I am an operative for the Republicans.

These people? This is what they do all day, every day. And then they also send me private messages if I don’t respond to them on a particular social media platform.

These people have zero boundaries. I am not at their beck and call.

And at the end of the day I am still bemused by the fact that I’m still just one person so why are they so obsessed? And then you have these other people who totally rile these others up because they like to see me gaslit and disparaged. And they also actually like to see me threatened. And yes, law enforcement does keep an eye on this stuff in general, as in not for me, but because that is what they do.

I don’t actually know these people who have decided I am evil. I simply don’t want to interact with them. I’m just out here living my life yet they want to tell me and everyone else how we are supposed to live our lives. They want to tell us how we’re supposed to think and what we’re supposed to do. And if we don’t wish to interact with them? That’s simply not acceptable.

And then when they’re not getting enough attention, they will throw something out there like I’m talking about their families. If I am speaking about their families, it’s only in the context of a question as to who are they anyway?

People don’t have to like me and I don’t have to like them. But that doesn’t mean that they get to just sit and try to destroy everyone’s lives, including mine by claiming that’s what I’m doing. I believe the appropriate term is projection?

So here we are life in the fast lane.

happy first day of spring! narberth borough still has turning sabine park into development on the brain. borough council meeting 7 pm tonight.

So yo, Narbs and Lower Merion neighbors, did you think this was going away? It is NOT. I wrote about this before and the lawyer fighting to save this park is working hard (Phil Rosenzweig) BUT people? You need to go BACK to meetings and speak. Or speak via zoom. Email. Contact media.

I checked when this all went up on Narberth Borough’s website for this evening and well, can you say shifty? They barely provide notice and that is a TYPICAL SLEZOID move to keep people away from meetings.

Narberth’s Democrats should be ashamed since well.. developing a park is hardly environmentally friendly is it? It’s just greed and laziness.

Where is the clause about shady shit in trying to sell a park for development???

People, you can zoom or go in person. But NOTHING beats bodies in the seats in person.

The Save Sabine Coalition has a website. It does need to be updated, as people have lives and they get busy. But folks? It’s pretty simple: if you don’t take an interest, Narberth Borough Council will continue down this path, which to me is sad and I thought they had grown past it but they haven’t.

https://www.sabinecoalition.com

I can’t fight this fight for you guys, I can only point it out. And I can say I think it is WRONG because it is wrong. But these people who are Narberth Borough government including lame duck Mayor Andrea Deutsch need to hear it from you guys.

That is kind of all I have got.

Narberth has issues and there are people on this borough council who leave me gobsmacked that they don’t get this.

Downingtown tried this a few years ago and got smacked down all the way to the PA Supremes.

Other Narberth posts:

so yeah the current radnor school district book banning aficionado is the same guy from a couple of years ago.

Courtesy of Savvy Main Line.

So Savvy Main Line blew the lid off of Radnor Township School District and the book banning of it all. The complainant ONCE AGAIN was the SAME guy who tried before, only this time, Radnor’s current unimpressive Superintendent of Schools Ken Batchelor who has obviously forgotten all about the diverse communities he once served, and STILL serves, seems to be capitulating to this dude’s whims?

My opinion on Batchelor is overwhelmingly he needs to go.

What is this man who oops started this again really afraid of? Did Superintendent Ken Batchelor misplace his balls somewhere? Yes, I just did say this because libraries? Libraries are supposed to be a peaceful place. A refuge. A haven. A safe place. I was and still am a bookworm. I loved libraries as kid. It was a place to escape, to visit foreign lands, learn something new, develop your own intellectual curiosity.

A library (again) is supposed to be a safe space.

This same man who has been wreaking havoc in Radnor probably embarrasses his kids, but are they allowed to have their own opinions? So he can keep his own kids out of the library and away from certain books and I have to wonder if he knows what his own kids get up to on the internet, social media, at the mall, etc.? Probably not.

I think this Radnor secret committee is also BS. I hope more and more people jump on this and give the Radnor librarians and librarian everywhere facing these issues back their libraries. And if these committee members are so proud of what they have done, why don’t they stand up in public?

And for every book that is banned, people need to open little free libraries of banned books everywhere.

If you don’t want your kids to read something, that is your personal choice as a parent, except if you think your kids will just not check something out that you said no to like a simple book, were you ever a kid? For me it was Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret, yet I think some of those novels like Lady Chatterley’s Lover and Tom Jones or Valley of the Dolls were a lot more racy.

To follow is the excellent Savvy reporting and Radnor School District won’t allow embedding of their videos so follow this link for the March 11, 2025 Policy Committee Meeting. I also dug up some old articles from when this guy started the witch hunts and book banning circus before.

Here’s hoping Radnor finds a new superintendent along with reversing this book ban. Parents need to parent in their own homes, not an entire school district. Would that this man who is at it again be so passionate about drugs, alcohol, and bullying. And well this angry dad could put his kids in Catholic school or a Christian school. But no, he wants Radnor taxpayers to pay for his phobias. Radnor taxpayers is that ok with you? It would not be ok with me.

Choice. Look it up, Mr. Phobic. Here’s hoping you allow your kids to have choices.

life’s little coincidences

Joseph Price House secured for now

So today I was sent proof that West Whiteland Township is making good on their word to secure the historic Joseph Price House at 401 Clover Mill Road on the corner of S. Whiteford in Exton. West Whiteland Township has a property maintenance code that they enacted I guess within the last couple of years so it appears they went over and they had their public works board up the parts of the Joseph Price house that had basically deteriorated, rotted or were broken into. So the house is secure for now and I am told township/police are keeping an eye on it and isn’t that great?

Joseph Price House boarded up

I’m guessing that you all remember I wrote about this again recently right? It’s just when the urban explorers tell you a historic house needs to be boarded up, you know it’s bad, right?

Joseph Price House a couple of
weeks ago.

So again, here’s the ownership of the property :

That ownership tags back to a property in Ambler, but not the Borough of Ambler. Here’s an aerial shot of that house:

Interestingly enough, this is another old house and according to Montgomery County was built around 190 one. Sometimes they aren’t particularly accurate so it could be a little earlier and ironically close to the same period of the Joseph Price house correct?

Now the owner of record has lived there longer than 2002, actually the property dates back to being purchased in Ambler around 1985. Anyway, when you look at the aerial shot, you see all those old cars right? What’s so interesting? Is the old cars that West Whiteland has wanted them to remove off the Joseph Price house property, right? And does the Joseph Price house have anything weird on the roof?

So is that a sad coincidence the both properties appear to have old car corpses?

And there is one more coincidence. The Township Manager of Lower Gwynnedd is the former manager of West Whiteland and Tredyffrin. As the Saturday Night Live Church Lady would say, “isn’t that special?”

Also there is this lovely act in PA called Act 135. Could West Whiteland Township put the Joseph Price house into a conservatorship to save the house ?

Only time will tell. Sigh.

radnor township school district is banning books. what’s next? branding students they don’t feel are normal according to klanned karenhood?

To say I am outraged is an understatement. We’re talking about books that no matter what you think about them aren’t being taught as part of curriculum, they are merely on shelves in a library. People can read them…or not.

Or they were.

So Radnor Township School District I have to ask are you going to brand your students who are different? are they going to be forced to wear special patches on their clothing? Does this remind you of 1930s Germany before World War II? It should this is how it starts.

Oh, and people are going to say I’m being overly dramatic. I am not. I am however, appalled.

It’s hard enough being a teenager without the extra pressure that parents who are uncomfortable with their own identity and sexuality foisted upon other people’s children. at the end of the day that is what this is about. This is about a minority of adult being uncomfortable.

Of course we could ask why are they so uncomfortable but they would be too uncomfortable, providing an honest answer, wouldn’t they?

I’m shocked that this has occurred.

I’m sad that this has occurred.

I’m appalled that this has occurred.

I’m sitting here remembering my high school days when I knew there were people who were struggling with just a simple fact of were they gay or straight. And what I remember from those days is for the most part other kids were accepting in a lot of cases. It was the adults who were not accepting. A lot of the kids who were uncomfortable with anyone else different from them I remember back then often had totally screwed up parents.

Now, as soon as this news broke, I went to some Radnor people I still know and asked them did they know this was happening? And I’m speaking about people with kids in the school district. They are shocked and outraged and flabbergasted, and before this hit the news, apparently all this past weekend there were all these little meetings with school board members scurrying and doing what can be described as damage control. (Note to school board: damage control is undoing this.)

In a district that doesn’t like to talk about issues like any drug/alcohol issues or bullying issues which are perennial everywhere, but they want to ban books.

They don’t want to talk about kids falling behind or talk about the ones who might not be safe at home, but they want to ban books.

This country has a sad flirtation with book banning beginning in 1637 in Quincy, Massachusetts. Censorship remained sporadic well into the late 19th century. Then as the 20th century dawned, book banning went whole hog in this country depending on where you were.

Statistically speaking, 3/4 of the books subject to book banning today are for children, preteens, and teens. But is it the kids who are upset or even reading the books? Seems to me it’s the parents with identity issues of their own they don’t want to deal with?

Because of things like the 1st amendment, the 14th amendment, and the 4th amendment we should have freedom to read in this country. But we don’t because you have these people whipped in a frenzy, vis-à-vis fake news on social media who have warped perspectives on obscenity and morals. Mind you some of the people who all of a sudden are book banners and born again Puritans and super faux Christians were not so innocent way back when and oh the irony, right? I mean, you haven’t lived until you’ve come face-to-face with a hypocritical, former dirty girl masquerading as super mom. Yes, oh the irony.

Radnor School District needs to be taken to court like yesterday over this. Parents need to take the gloves off and stand up and fight for the basic rights which are supposed to be exist in the public school system.

This is pure unmitigated bullshit.

Radnor parents, residents, and concerned citizens should be storming the proverbial Bastille over this. Protests, letters, packing meetings, speaking to media.

People if you’re not going to do it for your own children do it so future generations don’t have to feel like they are living in a prison when they are in school.

👉🏻If I lived in Radnor Township, I would put all of these books in every Little Free Library that sits on someone’s lawn anywhere. I would create Little Free Libraries just for these books.👈🏻

If parents don’t want their children to read certain books, that is up to them within their own household. They should not be able to decide for the rest of the population. And besides, especially when it comes to teenagers, do these parents remember being a teenager? For example when my mother said when I was in 7th grade that I couldn’t read Judy Blume books . So what did I do? I either bought copies and squirreled them away in the house in various hiding spots, or I borrowed them from friends. I read the books, and I lived and wasn’t scarred for life.

The point of education is not to stymie growth. The point of education is to teach and for kids to learn. What is the lesson being taught by Radnor Township School District? Quite frankly it is too ugly to contemplate.

Radnor’s School Board needs to find where they left their balls.

this sign is needed in all parks

A friend of mine posted that. I don’t know where that sign is located, but I think they should be in all parks, especially dog parks.

I’ve had dogs attacked while being on lead on a public sidewalk. I had a dog attacked on lead on the Haverford Nature Trail years ago.

I’ve had friends whose dogs have been attacked while on lead on sidewalks, in dog friendly parks, and in dog parks.

People seem to think that their dogs should be introduced everyone else’s dog. Not everybody wants to meet your dog and not everybody’s dog wants to meet your dog. Or dogs.

In both cases when my dogs were attacked, it required veterinary care. One time a dog got its throat bit open. That was the Haverford Nature Trail when my dog then was attacked by labrador retrievers off lead.

The second case was when my dog was attacked by an aggressive OFF lead golden retriever – yes aggressive – who was off lead while my dogs were on lead on a public sidewalk. In that case, my dog was attacked so hard that discs in his back were injured. I didn’t think he would walk again, and in order to walk again he required a lifetime of treatment.

At that time I had to push Lower Merion Township to actually fine the dog owner whose dog injured my dog. The man paid a meager $50 fine and then you saw him out with his dog again off lead less than a week later. At one point, I actually saw him on my road and I went outside and I literally screamed at the man because he never said he was sorry he never offered to pay a vet bill and he knew exactly whose dog he injured. I did not care that I screamed at this man. He was a jerk.

This week I noticed again yet someone else posting from Lower Merion Township about off lead dogs… and the lovely man who gave the same woman the finger as I’m sure she was completely terrified and upset about her dog being attacked. I hope her dog is OK. But I know how expensive those vet bills are personally.

I hope by now that someone has identified this man and that woman and that dog to the police and this woman whose dog was hurt. And that dog park is exactly where several people I have known over the years have had their animals attacked. One time it was a former neighbor whose dog had its entire stomach ripped open from underneath.

This is why I actually don’t go to dog parks. I really don’t also support dog parks because every time I’ve been near one all I saw were people who don’t pay attention to their animals and just let their animals do whatever, kind of like their children on the playground. No boundaries, no control.

But this one dog park at Mill Creek and the other at Rolling Hill needs to have somebody there from Lower Merion Township regularly to make sure those dogs stay in control. And for basics like to make sure the poop actually makes it to the trash cans, and to see that said trashcans get emptied. There are also complaints of people getting their cars broken into even if nothing is visible.

Like a lot of municipalities, Lower Merion is great at giving people parks, they just don’t necessarily maintain them well. And I think that goes for Radnor and Tredyffrin as well. But Lower Merion definitely takes the cake for park visitors with a misplaced sense of entitlement.

Here allow me to share some comments that are reviews for these two awfully dog parks in particular in Lower Merion, including the one where the woman’s dog was attacked a few days ago:

I don’t pretend to have the answers here. But I do think Lower Merion Township needs to deal with the problems in their dog friendly parks because they’ve been going on for years. And I hope that poor woman’s dog gets its vet bills paid, and that the poor dog isn’t permanently scarred emotionally as an animal for life, and the same for the dogs’s owner.

And as for the guy proudly displaying his middle finger? Karma will always come back for people like that. That’s just a classless jackass in his natural habitat.

A final note for people out there who like to take their animals to these parks or who just like to walk their animals around in general and don’t think twice about going up to a stray dog: ask before you approach. Don’t assume it’s ok. I have a friend who has a dog that is reactive to other dogs when on lead, and people do this all of the time when she’s walking her dog. She asks them to not approach her and this one dog with their dogs, and they just ignore her. It’s the same with people who don’t instruct their children to ask before they approach a strange animal. These people need to just stop.

OK, that’s all I have to say about stupid human tricks today. Thanks for stopping by.
