skullduggery surrounding shuttered brandywine hospital campus

Well dammmmmnnnn, this is interesting….the case is apparently in US District Court. This Banyan company (addiction treatment) alleges that a company from Wayne called Actus, falsely represented authority to lease building. This particular building the article states is owned by Coatesville MP RK6, a business associated with Remedy Medical Properties, a company based in Chicago, IL.

If you have been following the local news of it all you will remember most of this hospital campus was sold to the Lloyd Farm Folks AKA Regal Builders in March. This one lone building has another owner. According to this Philadelphia Business Journal article, the Banyan company had also been renovating the building when the real owners Coatesville MP RK6 (an LLC I presume of Remedy Medical Properties?) rolled up and said no dice kids, that’s OUR building.

And it’s funny I remember someone talking about this building being renovated in the course of a conversation about what would happen to that campus and the fact the hospital buildings were outdated. And I do remember someone else saying that this building in the article was under separate ownership.

Fascinating.

How do you represent a building you don’t actually have permission to represent? Like how did he even get inside or get keys? And I went to the Actus website and it is listed as a COMPLETED project! (Oh and under current projects on their website? Nada. Nothing.)

Banyan is suing a Wayne company for allegedly tricking the addiction treatment center operator into signing a fraudulent lease for space on the former Brandywine Hospital campus in Chester County.

The lawsuit, filed by Banyan Coatesville on May 28 in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia, lists Actus Management and the affiliated Actus Holdings and Actus Healthcare Properties as defendants…..The lawsuit alleges Sean McDougall, a managing member at Actus who is also named as a defendant, falsely represented that he was acting as an authorized agent and landlord for the owner of the building

Oh yes, it’s never dull whenever West Goshen is trying to pull something shady as shit.

The latest? They want to erase their meeting videos.

You know just when you think this truly bass ackwards Pennsyltucky municipality has nothing left to make you say WTF, oops they did it again.

Start copying all those videos West Goshen residents if you wish to preserve whatever shady ass record exists or literally they will make a giant April Fool’s joke out of all of you. And oh yeah, get thee to the APRIL 1, 2025 meeting starting at 6 PM. Pack the halls.

Ahhh West Goshen. A very murky, politically funky municipality. Today I learned something. Doreen Woodward whose late husband was Dave “Woody” Woodward the Director of Public Works is suing West Goshen Township.

Read the docket. It talks about “squirrel time” . It also makes you think back to just recently when West Goshen decided that residents didn’t need to see the result of the forensic audit that residents/taxpayer paid for. I am sure old Shaun Walsh doesn’t want ANY of this out before the election, right? I mean this is enough to make a politician take a final bow, right?

It’s always shady in West Goshen Township.

So yes. Litigation has been filed. Cliff Notes is West Goshen Township, West Goshen Supervisors, and Township Manager, Christopher Bashore, will have to defend 4 counts of Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress that allegedly was the cause of Director of Public Works, John David Woodward (22 yr. township employee) taking his life on July 28, 2023.

A lawsuit was filed against the defendants (named above) on Oct. 19, 2023 in the Court of Common Pleas, Chester County, PA. by the deceased’s Estate, et. al.

Again, any West Goshen person running for re-election right now, sure as shineola doesn’t want ANY of this to see the light of day, right?

WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Police say a longtime West Goshen Township Supervisor was killed by a pickup truck in a crash at a West Chester grocery store.

Action News has learned that the man killed was 77-year-old Dr. Robert White.

It was around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon when the driver of a silver pickup truck – a young woman in her early 20’s – reversed right into the front of the ShopRite store on the 1100 block West Chester Pike.

As the truck went careening toward the front of the store, White was standing right in the path on the sidewalk out front.

The truck first hit him – sending him right through the front window of the supermarket – then the pickup came to a stop.

So apparently none of the employee supervisors who knew about squirrel time got this money? But they knew about it? And they are still working there? And one guy takes his life over it and West Goshen wants to sweep it under the rug? And why isn’t the former Township Manager in this lawsuit again? Seems like he knew this was going on? You can’t blame the current manager for being upset because well this is some shady ass stuff, correct?

What is the value of life West Goshen?
