So people were buzzing about this stuff at Hilltop Park in Berwyn – and a lot of it had to do with this blog/website that seemed to crop up overnight. Don’t know came from precisely.

Anyway, it had this article about Hilltop Park and then there were some other stuff that I seem to think was about Willistown. I didn’t save screenshots which is kind of amusing, but it didn’t occur to me that this thing would disappear in so few days.
I mean generally speaking if I find something really interesting in an odd way on a website or Facebook I’ll take a screenshot, but I just was busy and didn’t get to it. Now I had wish I had even printed out this article because maybe there’s a clue in the article as to why it came down?
Savvy Main Line took this website to task when they wrote their article:
https://savvymainline.com/2026/11/01/hilltop-park-up-in-the-air-not-so-fast/
Allow me to quote:
It just wasn’t sitting right. An “article” headlined “The Future of [Easttown’s] Hilltop Park is Up in the Air” was making the rounds on community Facebook pages, dressed up as legitimate journalism but rife with insinuations and half-truths.
I hadn’t yet dug into the township’s biggest undertaking in years, a new $12 million to $13 million township building for police and staff at Hilltop Park. But I knew enough to know the “article” was suspect.
Another red flag: it had no byline, and it ended with a call to action, urging residents to push supervisors to delay the project at Monday night’s meeting.
Who’s behind it? We may never know. Emails to the website asking who runs it went unanswered….Have a concern? Speak up at a township meeting or email the supervisors. Just don’t dress up a polemic as a news article. Facts matter.

OK, so read Caroline O’Halloran‘s article if you want the whole scoop on Hilltop Park and Easttown. It’s a terrific article and it’s long and you can click on it and read it for free. No media has covered this except for Caroline, and me your friendly neighborhood blogger because I was curious. But I didn’t cover it to the depth or detail as Caroline.
But what I do know that I don’t think Caroline knows yet is that that website and it’s Facebook page are like poof gone bye-bye. It’s fascinating. I don’t know if any archiving services picked up this website because it was out there for such a short duration of time but it sure is curious isn’t it?
If you know anything drop a comment.

Everyone was so sure that this was gospel so if it was gospel, why is it gone? Why did it vanish and who was behind it? Because some of the things on it were in Willistown was someone in Willistown behind it? Was this just a stunt even political right before election day to derail something in Easttown?
