We have never seen this bird before at any of our feeders.  At first I thought the male might be some kind of Oriole, but I wasn’t sure, so I looked it up.  It is a Rose-breasted Grosbeak! We have a mating pair and I don’t know if they will stick around all spring and summer or not because according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology it looks like Pennsylvania is mostly in the breeding range of states, but it looks like on the tiny map that part of Pennsylvania is in their migration range.

Anyway, it is a bird I have never noticed before, so I thought I would share!
