got dumped in east whiteland?

East Whiteland is this what you call “storage”?

Well East Whiteland something else near Malvern Hunt and I am guessing not too far from West Whiteland? It looks like a dump East Whiteland and aren’t those days over? If you are storing things, wouldn’t they be properly housed?

I was sent an email about this property which who knew East Whiteland even owned:

To whom it may concern,

Officer Dunphy called me on Friday 6/26/2027 about the township owned property behind the Malvern Hunt Development on Old Valley Road. He expressed there was a concern from a resident about illegal dumping on the property.

This is a follow up email from the phone call we had yesterday 6/29/2027 about this property and its use by the township Public Works Department. This property has been owned by East Whiteland Township for many years, and the Public Works Department uses this property periodically for material storage. This property, in the use of materials storage is solely used by the Public Works Department of East Whiteland Township. There is no illegal dumping occurring on this property.

If you have any further questions, please reach out to me or the Public Works Director John Neild who is copied on this email, thank you.

With respect, how much time does East Whiteland spend back there to even know what is happening? Are residents right there wrong?

Residents over near there tell me the area is massive and the property record indicates 61 acres.. Residents report trails are kind of obliterated and overgrown? Residents say it is like a giant dumping ground, which is why a police report was filed?

What does Chester County think or know about this? Aren’t the trails supposed to be interconnected?

If dumping is happening WHO IS DOING IT? Are there trail cams etc?

Come on East Whiteland, it’s bad enough residents of Malvern Hunt etc are already living in fear of that blasted data center……right?

land next to a school is not a dumping ground

This was directed my way yesterday with a message:

Dumped at some point today, on School Lane across from Sugartown Elementary playground fields.

Obviously some really crappy person or persons dumped their construction, and/or flipping house and/or clean out project, here on School Lane.

We’ve left a message with the Township and the Police Department.

I don’t know what’s wrong with people, but this isn’t something that would have fallen off a truck. It had weight to it, and it was placed according to the witness.

This is where people‘s kids go to school and even if it wasn’t, it’s not where it belongs, which is in a dumpster somewhere. That means somebody doing something was feeling cheap and just dumped the trash.

If you know who did this, or if for some reason, you know of a security camera that may have picked this up, or you saw it happening, please call Willistown police at (610) 647-5300.

This is completely shameful and unacceptable.
