opdenaker: a company that cares about customers.

First, we had the issues with Republic and then they just dumped everyone in our area as trash customers.

Then we had AJ Blosenski, who was good until they weren’t, and then they really sucked.

Both of these companies had no art of customer service. You can’t get people on the phone. They don’t call you back you don’t matter. they are all about collecting the money, but there’s nothing in between.

So we chose Opdenaker out of Delaware County.

Ever since we signed up with them, it’s been easy. And it’s been well over a year at this point because we switched to them probably the middle of 2023. They show up when they’re supposed to. You can always get someone as in a real human being on the phone and they’re happy to talk to you and if for some reason you get voicemail, they call you back and it’s generally the same day.

This week was the first time they didn’t come. And it was because of the snowstorm on Monday. I wasn’t particularly perturbed. I didn’t expect them to show up. They put out a notification and said they would be in touch with people about when they’re trash day would be rescheduled to.

But the difference between them and everybody else that’s out there is we got a personal phone call to tell us that our trash was being picked up tomorrow.

A customer service outgoing phone call from a really nice lady who apologized profusely for not being able to get there because of the snow and they want customers to know when they were getting their pick ups and not just put out something on social media or email.

I’m nobody special. I’m just your average customer.

Real customer service is so rare these days that I wanted to take just a minute to point this out.

Thank you, Opdenaker.
