Well OMG everything old is new again in West Vincent Township. It’s literally GROUNDHOG day!

Wait, did you expect me to leave this alone?

Jim Wendelgass, like black mold or ants a picnic, is bacccccckkk! Jim Wendelgass last time around did not have his contract renewed, yet here he is with a temporary one or whatever? Gosh and when he retired at West Pikeland why was that really? (Oh and for fun check out DJ APPEAL 2022-07736-CV on Chester County’s civil dockets. It’s about West Pikeland and a pond. But I digress)

So the now among the dearly departed, Jacqui Guenther sure didn’t last long as West Vincent Township Manager, did she? If they are the least bit normal they are allergic to the Kool Aid and leave. Someone said she is possibly going to Marcus Hook? So if true, she’d rather be in the bowels of Delaware County and dealing with pipelines and big oil vs. West Vincent Township?

I have to ask, will Chickenman rise up from the dead or wherever they have been over this?

This is CRAZY. What’s next a pinch hitter for the upcoming election and perhaps instead of Sara Shick, the voters of West Vincent will be subjected to former Supervisor Roadmaster Farmer in the O’Dell KenOcrat? I mean I have heard tell of meetings between Shick, Wedelgas, and the KenOcrat already so is it very far fetched? And Speaking of Sara Shick, why is she seeming to wear the same outfit again to the stupidvisors meeting? And she is still in a wheelchair? All sarcasm aside, is she OK? And no sarcasm aside perhaps the current solicitor had best watch their six because doesn’t this crew have a preferred solicitor?

So in 2016, they shed Jim Wedelgass. But since snakes grow another skin, I guess it makes sense he’s back?

West Vincent supervisors and former township manager enter a transition agreement

WEST VINCENT >> Supervisors and a former township employee entered an agreement to help assist the new staff.

The West Vincent Township supervisors last Monday approved an agreement with James “Jim” Wendelgass, the former township manager, to help during a transition period.

Wendelgass was not reappointed by the supervisors during the January reorganization meeting. The supervisors decided to have an interim manager serve from the Local Government Management Services, LLC.

Wendelgass served as the township manager for 11 years.

The contract is an employment separation agreement between Wendelgass and the township with an agreement to help as a consultant.

The agreement is $15,000 for 80 hours. When asked by the public, supervisors’ Chairman John Jacobs said Wendelgass has worked roughly 55 hours so far.

And let us not forget, Wendelgass was the guy that made sure taxpayers paid for a former stupidvisor’s healthcare AFTER the eminent domain debacle caused her to separate from a a certain non-profit, right? And he was there for the failed eminent domain taking right?

I just can’t with this choice. I didn’t think it could get worse than John Granger whom they 86’d , but here we are at Groundhog Day. Here are some vistas from his last ride in West Vincent:

West Vincent loves their cloudy days and when there were SO MANY cloudy days under a former manager why, why, why have they all fallen and hit their heads and think it’s a good idea to let a mangy fox back into the proverbial hen house? Or get another bite at the apple?

Just out of curiosity has anyone ever an analysis in West Vincent of how much did this guy cost that township LAST time?

Whatever, glad I don’t live there. (And so are the elected officials!)

The neat thing about having my own blog is I can have my own opinions. And I am doing something I should have done a few weeks ago: blog endorse Mike Schneider for West Vincent Supervisor.

As a general rule of thumb, this blog doesn’t endorse. But given the election shenanigans, dirty tricks, property vandalism and general mayhem of desperation in West Vincent Township Chester County, it is the right thing to do.

I have met and I have spoken with Mike Schneider on more than one occasion.  Several occasions over more than a year as a matter of fact. West Vincent, he doesn’t want to be your “road master” and have taxpayers fund his health benefits and an additional source of income off the backs of hardworking individuals. (And is it true taxpayers fund a pension plan for Ken Miller as well?) Mike Schneider just wants to represent the residents and do better for West Vincent Township.

I might not live in your township but I have been going to it since I was a teenager. You have a beautiful township that is precipitously close to being completely overdeveloped. Your roads are a disgrace. Favoritism and political cronyism rule the day, every day. And you, the residents can stop ALL of this on election day with one vote per person for Mike Schneider.

The people who love Ken Miller would have you believe he is like the second coming of Christ. He’s not. He’s just a guy who was a farmer and got into politics and now doesn’t seem to do either job particularly effectively, does he? So actually you would be doing Ken Miller a kindness he doesn’t deserve by retiring him to his farm – he really needs to concentrate on his family farm full time because eventually can we say those tractors left topsy turvy in a field all add up?

Ken Miller got shown the door by his own political party in the spring primary. He is only on the ballot as a Democrat from write ins because he and his supporters are that desperate for him to keep his job. You see, if he loses power, so do all the mean people.

Yes, mean people.

These people do things like vandalize private property, leave nasty letters in mailboxes and slanderous broadsides on community bulletin boards. Why? Because they are scared of any truth seeking individuals like one with the Internet handle of Chickenman. It is completely maddening to them that they can’t unmask him. They like to tell you how he lies, even though he backs his writings up with public documents. Documents sourced from court records and West Vincent Township.

Recently those who practice the Religion of Miller have put their propaganda in an anti-Frank Perdue web page. They did this because well, they got outed with their cutsie-folksie-country life West Vincent Voices page basically got outed not so long ago as existing solely to prop up Ken Miller’s sagging campaign. You see, people were very upset when Dave Monteith’s property was vandalized and then people started talking about development. That was apparently too much honesty and sunshine. I am told the page was scrubbed of certain postings and residents who didn’t tow the line removed. And as they are cajoling you with syrupy sappy fakeness, they are out stealing lawn signs, aren’t they? And when residents post rewards for information on those who are stealing lawn signs, why those posts are removed, aren’t they?

Anything that challenges their desperate status quo is removed.  But hey they like making phone calls, stopping at your homes, and sending nasty e-mails, right? And well, when  all else fails you can always blame Barry DiLibero, right? Did you know when it rains or snows, it is actually Barry’s fault? Yup, just ask the Religion of Miller. Barry is a dear friend and well very talented, but he hasn’t mastered making it snow and rain…yet.

Now the tea and scones set act all nicey-nice but the truth is they do things like support cyber bullying and cyber -stalking efforts. They did that to me. They are just not nice people. They are past masters of smiling to their neighbors’ faces while they stab them in their backs. People live in fear where they pay taxes because of these people and their middle class thuggish mob mentailty behavior.   And they seem to do all the talking for Miller, don’t they?  It needs to stop, doesn’t it?

I don’t like liars and cheats and bullies. I think you all have a wonderful little township and it is time for all of it to return to the people. Show Ken Miller the door on election day and take back his keys to your township. Tammany Hall is so 19th century so take a stand and just do it. And when David Brown comes up for re-election just stop, rinse, repeat. Birds of a feather and all that.

Bring civility back to West Vincent. Bring a real sense of community that is not selective but is all- inclusive back to West Vincent.  Embrace public servants who work for all of you and not just a select population but mostly for themselves.

Election day can be your Emancipation Day West Vincent. You just have to step away from the Miller Mob. It’s not so hard, it’s just a vote.

At the end of the day Chester County needs more Mike Schneiders and fewer Ken Millers. And that is why I wrote this post.

I do not really dabble in politics the way I used to. But when I see something that is enough of a sense of wrong for lack of a better description, well, I say something.

See that picture above? It is a still from a public meeting in West Vincent Township.  See that man flipping the audience or whomever the bird? That is Farmer Supervisor Roadmaster Ken Miller isn’t it? It’s from a website called Stop Ken Miller.

West Vincent, THAT is what you have had representing you for what? 22 years? Today is the chance of a lifetime. Today you can vote him OUT of office. As in #RetireTheRoadmaster.

Please note that I do not live in West Vincent.  I have nothing to do with the election websites, but between this distasteful photo of a current sitting elected official and his letter overnight or whatever saying his honorable opponent (who is actually honorable) wouldn’t debate him which is factually inaccurate, added to the years of petty tyranny, well West Vincent isn’t it time to free yourselves from the chains which bind you most unfairly as residents?

Here is what just came out courtesy of Chickenman:

I see that Ken Miller has sent out one last letter, again not telling the truth. He states,” In addition, the League of Women Voters offered to set up a debate between my opponent and myself more than a month ago. I accepted their invitation, my opponent declined”.

Poor Ken can’t even tell the truth about something as simple as this. The League of Women Voters were late contacting Mike (May 9th) and they then said that it was too late to arrange a debate.

It was The League of Women Voters who turned down the debate, not Mike Schneider.

Sad that Ken has to try to use this as a crutch while he claims he won’t lower himself to mudslinging. It seems he is the only one doing it. Please get out and vote today for Mike Schneider to let people know you support him.

For what it is worth, I actually have met and spoken with Mike Schneider.  He is honest, smart, honorable, and running for the right reasons. He wishes to serve the residents of West Vincent, not serve himself.

So West Vincent, you have a choice. You can be sheeple and ostriches and pretend everything in Glocca Morra is fine, or you can be real and vote in some new political blood.  In my humble opinion, you will be doing yourselves a favor by voting for Mike Schneider.

Vote for change in West Vincent. Change the faces of who govern you and enact positive change, a reality all residents can benefit from.  After all, government and elected officials are supposed to work for you, not you for them.

At the end of the day if I lived in your municipality I would like a little more from my elected officials than flipping residents and taxpayers their middle finger like they are in middle school.

Just saying.

Get out and vote.

Polls are open for hours.

are we hearing “voices” again in west vincent?

west vincent voicesPeople often ask me what it is that bothers me about the politics in West Vincent, Chester County. See above.

Above is a letter penned by a “concerned” West Vincent resident to another West Vincent resident.  I am hoping the author is not one of those “West Vincent Voices” because wow, do you think they could move on from anonymous missives like this and anonymous broad sheets on the United States Post Office wall?

The song remains the same meets Groundhog Day? Now I know these people don’t care for me or this blog, and well, good for them, everyone needs a hobby, right?

The man targeted by this latest bit of nastiness was in intensive care on one step removed from life support and these folks were running around calling him Chickenman. Until January 21st, 2014 when Chickenman posted an interesting update. Now this gentleman is the “source” of Chickenman’s “lies”. That makes me giggle because well, why let a little truth get in the way of local yokel politics, right? And if you can’t git him, well why not git his wife, right? (His wife is one of the loveliest and most genuinely nice people you will ever meet too.)

So now these people are back to penning poisoned pen letters? I hope they remember to wipe off their fingerprints, don’t you?

I am touched by their fealty to those like Farmer Supervisor to the stars Ken Miller, but seriously, wow do they blame everyone else for everything?

And speaking of the Supervisor to whom they pay their fealty, is he going to step down as Supervisor at the end of his current term?  That is what the chatter has been for months, right?   Being an elected official is tough, so time will tell, right?

But as for Truth in West Vincent?  They need to by a clue.  But again, maybe they are just hearing “West Vincent Voices”, right?  After all, who else would be so deliberately unkind as to continually try to hurt one of their neighbors, right? But then again people like this love to hide behind a keyboard.

I just find it sad.  Why? Because they are correct that West Vincent is an awesome and beautiful place. But by their actions the show the world that their apple has a rotten core, don’t they?

what a long, strange week it has been

The power came on about an hour ago. Fingers crossed it lasts this time. It has been a hell of a week and the fun is just beginning as next comes clean up and insurance companies and repairs….and undoubtedly more snow.

This long horrible week has been a week of amusing moments. My favorite is the email someone sent me from West Vincent that said:

“I had a call from Ken Miller at 7:00 this morning asking me to let you know. He said there is not a road in the Township that doesn’t have a tree down on it. The road crew and police are on the job but the ice is treacherous and the roads are blocked….Please pass the word. Thank you and be safe….Chickenman, please forward.”

That is pretty funny all things considered, and Chickenman did indeed forward the message out which shows him to be the fine feathered gent that he is. And amusing that the township would need his help.

Of course it had not all been nice, unusual and truly neighborly moments as there has been a lot said to people who expressed dismay and frustration and just plain exhaustion at the past few days…..myself included. As a matter of fact I just deleted a comment from someone who said I was “whining”. The reality is this week has been hell and never having experienced anything like this I am not going to apologize for expressing how I feel.

I close my eyes and I still hear branches and trees hitting my house and that will take time to fade. And I will never forget the sick crashing noise when the tree hit my house or how my house literally shook from the impact.

If I never experience anything like this again I will be very grateful.

Now the clean up and repair phase begins. The storm inflated pricing on the part of tree guys and contractors has already begun. It is the unfortunate nature of natural disaster and commerce. It’s not right, but it just is .

I hope my power is on to stay and I did want to thank PECO. Especially because their customer service people although they never had much they could tell us were for the most part very pleasant. ( It can’t have been easy to take calls from close to. 800,000 freaked out people) I also want to say thanks to all those line men who have descended on our area from all over the US and Canada.

I think this evening for the first time in days I will actually sleep tonight.

When my internet returns I will have lots of cool photos.

Be safe all and if you don’t have power yet I hope you do soon.

I wonder if I can get Verizon to repair the Fios on in time for Downton Abbey? Probably not but I can dream…..

I asked these fine feathered fowl if they had seen Chickenman, but *sigh* all they did was cluck….truth be told with all that clucking they sounded just like West Vincent Township Supervisors and officials…very amusing!  Enjoy the day!
