The background noise is that of an actual data center in Virginia- Louden County AKA that place that East Whiteland Supervisors and erstwhile staff did NOT visit in person before embarking on this project from hell.
In today’s scintillating edition of East Whiteland is a shit show and they aren’t protecting residents comes the magical news that they now have a will serve letter from AQUA.
Show and tell time East Whiteland or it’s all just more bullshit, except it will be that in the end anyway.
Possibly related? Apparently there are a lot of problems in house in East Whiteland Township. Could it be the management style or the management itself?
IF NO ONE CAN SEE THE LETTER IS IT JUST A MUNICIPAL FAIRY TALE?
East Whiteland wants a pat on the back for updating their website where it concerns the data center? Here’s the link but don’t expect a pat on the back from me:
If they want praise, then they can stop the data center, right?
I am quite honestly sick of the municipal soft shoe here, aren’t all of you? This project IMHO will be worse and more destructive that Foote Mineral the EPA superfund site it’s being built on. Note I said in my humble opinion/IMHO.
Also IMHO? They should have said no and could have said no when Charlie the fig wanted a hydrogen hub in West Whiteland way back when right?
Now stockbroker turned developer Charlie is getting pissy on his LinkedIn and seemingly defensive according to this screenshot isn’t he? I ditched LinkedIn as a useless social media appendage a few years ago now, so this was sent to me as it is currently circulating as curious, right?
The eternal puzzle of course is how is there work going on over there at Foote if they don’t have the green light letters from AQUA or PECO? And crushing what exactly and does the township, PA DEP, and EPA give a f😡ck?
Of course what is most amusing about this LinkedIn rant are this dude’s assertions that without his data center we will have no cell phones, no Internet, Netflix, etc etc? Oh ok we’ll wait for the proof that his ever changing project is for all of that right? I mean especially since we have all of these things without his community and environmental killing project now right? And I guess he and big orange are best buddies since he makes a misleading national security statement?
Is he like freaking Moses with the electronic Ten Commandments or what?
(Tried several different browsers so far and if he can’t put up a consistent or basic website, East Whiteland wants to trust him with a data center? 🤣)
So Charlie the fig seems to really want his data center? How’s about putting it in his front yard in Willistown then? What could possibly go wrong?
I will close with a video from Louden County, Virginia…the place East Whiteland didn’t know about when starting the data center journey back when Rich Orlow and Sue Drummond were still supervisors but couldn’t have been bothered checking out before they started down this path to hell, right? And then when was it in the last year or so that they said they spoke to Louden County, Virginia officials and still did not get it? They never physically went to visit did they?
Well here East Whiteland Township, watch this you collective of data center-centric idiots. This is what you are dooming us to:
A commercial appeared when I was watching the 6 o’clock NBC 10 news today. It was a replay and it had a commercial from PA state representative candidate Elizabeth Moro. She is running against Craig Williams again in the PA 160. There she was in a farm field in a plaid shirt, and one of the things mentioned is how she would help her constituents against data centers.
Umm really?
(Mind you I’m not saying Craig Williams is fabulous either when it comes to data centers because he’s a bring your own energy guy which means a potential power plant next door to your residential street.)
This is is not an endorsement for Craig Williams. This is just pointing out the simple fact that while Elizabeth might be a nice human being with a great local business, she’s possibly notyour gal for state representative if Josh Shapiro is stumping for her.
Why?
Again it’s simple: data centers and what they really mean to our Governor.
I told all of my readers a few weeks ago now that if a candidate really isn’t for protecting the people against hyperscale data centers, they aren’t your candidate no matter what political party.
Elizabeth is a Democrat and honestly, maybe it would be nice to have one down there in the 160, but not at the expense of the people if she’s not really against mega scale hyperscale data centers OK?
So Elizabeth can either truly be against data centers or just be truly interested in a girly squeaky way wearing high heels with her jeans and her plaid shirts and posing for photos with Governor Josh Shapiro.
I noticed the more folksy touch from her with the plaid shirts in a farm field and elsewhere, and then I saw a picture of her with Governor Shapiro and she had the high heels on with the jeans and that is I’m sorry just too 1980a college for me. Heels are also not farm field attire are they?
Step apart from the corporate Democrat pack Elizabeth. Truly be against data centers (which are gobbling up farm fields like the ones you have been posing in.)
You can’t be a little bit preggers here as a candidate in PA over data centers, so spell it out. Be very specific, do not be a generalist.
Previous to this, Elizabeth has run for this PA state house seat before (against Craig Williams) and for Congress (she withdrew because of redistricting.)
