to be a democrat in chester county is like a game of project runway: you’re either in or you’re out

Things I learned from the Prison Board Meeting yesterday: If you can’t be a rah-rah Democrat, keep your mouth shut.

News flash: I was an inconvenient Republican before this and you all liked me well enough most of the time except when you decided once in 2013 I was a Tea Partier.

I am who I am. So now the Chester County Democrats perceive me as public enemy number one for being essentially an inconvenient Democrat. Like I said before it takes me back to 2013 when it was declared I was a tea partier.

Yesterday I offered public comment at the beginning of the Prison Board Meeting in West Chester:

Well then when the rest of public comment rolled around up popped two ride or die Democrats who not only seemingly leave no room for independent thought as well as no room for anyone to challenge the machine, which was rather ironic considering who one of the speakers was and how she was treated in the past by this very county party and I supported her. That is kind of sad, right? I think so.

Now while I respect these women for speaking on what they believe to be true even if people disagree, I don’t respect misquoting me from the same meeting barely an hour before if that. And the passive aggressive “teased out” of it all made me laugh out loud and if I open my mouth for public comment anything, I do my homework ahead of time.

So I offered rebuttal. I do not like being misquoted or a victim of a sniper attack from other Democrats because they think people owe abject loyalty to political parties at all times no matter what even if that kind of makes something more of a cult instead of a functioning political party:

So I have been thinking about this. What does it mean to be a Democrat in Chester County if they attack you for being independent minded? Doesn’t that make them everything they said they wouldn’t be when they took majority in Chester County?

I point you back to JudgeGate from the spring 2023 primaries.

And speaking of JudgeGate will we have StateRepGate again next primary season? Seems like Grandma Charlotte erstwhile head of the Chester County Democrats is at it again? Just visit this website to see. Now this is a person who ran unsuccessfully for Downingtown Borough Council in 2015. She’s part of Mid Chesco Dems, AKA where some of Grandma Charlotte’s filing five came from when they did Paige Simmons dirty in May. (Which was withdrawn in June.)

So unlike others, I pay attention to whom decides to follow me on socials, especially if they are very chirpy. All of a sudden this new Chesco Dem was following. So I kept an eye peeled. And she is running for State Rep. She is a Democrat. She has headshots out there and then there is her Twitter handle and her friends announcing on message boards that she is running for State Rep. That would put her in Legislative District 155, or Danielle Friel Otten’s district.

It doesn’t take new math to figure out this chick has her eyeballs focused on Danielle’s seat, does it? It also doesn’t take much of a reach to figure Grandma Charlotte Valyo of the Chesco Dems must have her paws in this somewhere, does it? So they are gearing up for more Dirty Dems Primary Tricks Done Dirt Cheap, eh? And it’s not like they haven’t done this before, right? I will say sorry if I am wrong, but past being prologue and all say I am right, doesn’t it? We have recent shenanigans and then the others they have primaried against Danielle Otten like Rose Hogan Danese.

Oh and I mentioned JudgeGate in the spring primary, but there was another JudgeGate this summer wasn’t there? Something about just endorsing current sitting GOP judges? Kind of funny after they went after a fellow Democrat who is a Magisterial District Justice who was looking to run for Common Pleas in the spring?

And now this other thing related to that – a rumor of planning to do the sample ballot to the entire county on behalf of CCDC leaving judicial retention question blank? Supposedly local areas/zones are losing their minds because they want to vote NO on the Republican and Indie candidates there, because well Democrats are supposed to elect Democrats, and Republicans wouldn’t support a Democrat, etc? But Grandma Charlotte supposedly thinks this might still achieve retaining the Republican judges? Now to be honest, I have Republican judges I will vote for, but I don’t run the party and that is my personal choice as an inveterate ticket splitter, so Grandma Charlotte are you all there? Je ne comprends pas.

All this strife and controversy from within the Chester County Democrats since Grandma Charlotte Valyo took the wheel, isn’t there? Does she think it’s Phoenixville Country Club or something? She and her hubs were on the board during that whole space oddity of the bailout of that club once upon a time, right? I mean for what the bailout was, isn’t it still surprising that is not a public course since government monies from Schuylkill Township bailed them out? We the people and all that jazz?

The Chester County Democrats always SAY they are different from the GOP but when they do the same stupid tricks now that they are in power are they actually different? Inquiring minds want to know. Want to know what I think?

I think power always corrupts and political power is no different. I think with every leadership change with the Chester County Democrats there is not enough cleaning house of deadwood and the past people who made local paper headlines are still too involved in the running of the party and I am allowed that opinion. I think independent thinking is discouraged and everyone is supposed to walk lock step with whatever leadership is word salading that day, week, hour.

So am I surprised that the claws came out at me at the meeting yesterday? Nope. The Chester County Democratic Committee is like Project Runway: one day you are in, the next day you are out.

Obviously I am out. I was ok to Democrats as an inconvenient Republican, but I am not ok as an inconvenient Democrat. Thanks kids, duly noted, and perhaps Independent is in my future except then I lose right to primary voting.

But their nasty Project Runway behavior seems to be constant and can it be said only pet committee people and zone folks aren’t harangued? I point you to the pet squad of Mid Chester County Dems in particular. Freedom, fairness, opportunity is somewhat subjective with Grandma Charlotte, yes?

I am beginning to feel like the Chester County Democratic Committee want us to be like 1950s housewives: obedient and silent. Sorry doesn’t work for me. And aeresol hairspray isn’t environmentally friendly and went out with Barbara Hafer circa late 1980s- 1990s.

I have a theory. I think there needs to be new leadership with Chesco Dems and a housecleaning of old leadership hanging about. They have become so much like what they criticized and replaced that if that doesn’t happen, mediocrity will reign supreme. Without change there will not be growth. And Chester County Democrats need to grow away from all the current petty bullshit. And there is too much petty bullshit which comes from the top as acceptable behavior. They will have kittens over my opinions on this and I will get nasty comments, but so what? I became a Democrat because I thought they would actually live their mission and they are not. It’s that simple.

All Democrats are not welcomed equally is the clear message. Individuality is not welcome. And they tell their committee people whom they want endorsed. There really is no natural selection, it is pre-ordained.

And I am not letting the Republicans of Chester County off of the hook, either. Most of what CCDC is playing at is out of the age old playbook of the RCCC. It’s all stupid, kind of like their QAnon Princess West Goshen Republican Committeeperson Ada Nestor and her latest obsession: saying Chester County is a Sanctuary County. And also saying that Chester County Prison doesn’t work with ICE. The prison follows the law, they work with federal officials…they have to. And then there is the latest fakakta lawsuit. And the fact that they try to hide it, but still very much cater to extremism groups including those poorly disguised as suburban moms like it is totally normal for a soccer mom to show up at school board meetings in a gas mask, right?

I guess I am waiting for Chester County Democratic Committee and the Republican Committee of Chester County to stop acting like teenage mutant ninja turtles with vertigo and blindfolds. Both parties need work. But the Chester County Democratic Committee should be ashamed of themselves for becoming exactly what they said they wouldn’t when they attained their historic majority. Here’s an idea Chesco Dems: ditch current leadership and their gross and continual stupidity and try to keep your majority because after all, elections are also like Project Runway: one day you’re in, the next day you’re out.

Those who want to tell me how wrong I am? Save your breath. You will need it when I can say told you so, and that day is coming if you don’t get it together.

Ciao for now sports fans.

monday thoughts

I can’t take credit for this. I was having a conversation with a friend of mine this morning, and this came up.

Elections are coming and we get the government we deserve.

What does that mean? It’s pretty simple actually.

There are plenty of bad candidates on both sides of the aisle that shouldn’t be elected to any level of elected office. But people talk a good game, and then they don’t go to the polls. Or they vote how they are told by their particular political party.

If you want better government, we need balance. And in order to get balance, it means you can’t depend on political parties (and candidates) shoving sample ballots, even illegal sample ballots under your nose, you have to do your own research.

So do your own research. And if a politician sounds too good to be true a lot of the time they are and then there are the charlatans. I won’t mention any specific charlatans, but you know I have a couple in mind. (They are Chester County Republicans.)

And if you are a Democrat in Chester County one of my favorite charlatans is named Charlotte. Charlotte Valyo who is the current bad chair of The Chester County Democratic Committee. Now the irony is that they have this thing on their website:

We’re fired up and ready to go! We’re your friends, family and neighbors who are empowering voters and grassroots supporters. We’re fighting for a brighter future for all Americans, and organizing in every corner of our great county. Join us!

~ Chester County Democratic Committee

And yes, at present I am a registered Democrat. However, that above is a large load of happy horse shit. They only want you to do what they want you to do. They don’t want grass roots. They don’t want independent candidates they don’t even want current elected officials who are independent minded ….and yes Charlotte we KNOW what you’re up to.

The Chester County Democratic Committee also now that they are the party in control of the county seems to specialize in dirty tricks, especially in primary season, but you have to pay attention all year long. And I think what needs to happen is you need to cut off the head of the snake and get rid of the deadwood that is still hanging around that are former snakeheads that have been cut off. So Charlotte and others need to go.

And I’m not letting the Republican Committee of Chester County off the hook either. On their website they proclaim:

Making the rights of life, liberty and
the pursuit of happiness a reality for all.
~ Republican Committee of Chester County

So the Chesco GOP is all for rights, but they support the rights of people who think our rights are subjective. They have committee people who are constantly promoting incorrect conspiracy theories on the Internet. They cater to extremism groups and they don’t vet their candidates and they can’t even find good candidates. So half of the reason I can’t support a lot of their candidates even if I was a Republican, is I do not feel that my inalienable rights are subjective.

INALIENABLE RIGHTS. All persons are born free and have certain inalienable rights which include the right of pursuing life’s basic necessities, of enjoying and defending their lives and liberties, of acquiring, possessing and protecting property and of seeking their safety, health and happiness in all lawful ways.

We are a country designed on a two party system. This whomever gets all the toys wins is not working for anyone. And the way the Chesco Dems are acting while in control is the way the Chesco GOP acted when they were in control.

So how do we the literal people win? Do your homework. Check out candidates on your own and remember off year election cycles are important because it lets starter politicians you don’t want in office anywhere get in the door of local school districts via school boards…you know like the fake professor in the DASD? (Gosh what pejorative term will he attempt to attach to me this week for mentioning but not mentioning him? Can’t wait!)

Don’t be afraid to split your ticket because as a country, we were designed as a two party system and until we achieve balance, we are going to continue to achieve free fall.

Do your homework. If any of us continue to vote the way we are “told“ we all get what we deserve. Dare to be different. You don’t have to tell anyone. They don’t have hidden cameras watching you fill out your ballot or when you’re in the booth.

Happy Monday.

charge!

You know when three Chester County old school GOP big dogs say they are endorsing Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan, a Democrat, it kind of speaks volumes.

Three former Chester County Republican Committee chairmen have endorsed U.S. Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Berks/Chester) for reelection.

Alan Novak, a political consultant, attorney Joseph “Skip” Brion, and William Lamb, a former state Supreme Court justice, told the Delaware Valley Journal they support Houlahan.

~ Linda Stein, Delaware Valley Journal 10/13/22

Skip Brion, Bill Lamb, Alan Novak. Wonder what the current Chester County GOP Uriah Heep in charge has to say? I mean being a toadie has it’s limits, right?

This news gave me a fit of the giggles.

Of course this means your #whereisGUY required reading is essentially his political history :

https://whatkindofguy.wordpress.com/

This endorsement says to me the divide within the Trumpublican party in Pennsylvania is widening. Of course with Lawrence Tabas as the chair of the PA GOP, it makes you wonder how he sleeps at night with this slate of misfits?

Keep the popcorn at the ready.

hmmm all that glitters and all that

The Republican Committee of Chester County has issues. Everyone knows that. But who knew that the groups, etc even they pander to might umm be shall we say dissension in the ranks? And it’s funny considering how the Chester County GOP shares their social media postings at times, right? Of course then after something they share from one of these groups causes a problem it magically disappears from their Facebook feed, but it doesn’t mean their hands are clean does it?

The above examples are just examples from one of the originating pages and predictably distasteful. But this page, Chester County Coalition of Republican Women doesn’t speak for all Republican women, so I have some screenshots to share. The other interesting thing about the screenshots is that this page doesn’t necessarily have love lost for the official Chester County Republican page and isn’t that amusing?

Anyway….how are these people actually Republicans or true conservatives? It’s like they would all just eat their young given half a chance. Just Stepford Wives for Totalitarianism in another outfit. And one would hope that the Republican Committee of Chester County would learn to source their fake news better, right?

political season door-knocking 101

Door-knocking. A political season tradition that seems to be having issues. In Chester County, PA it’s run off of the rails.

Recently a woman in Malvern asked if it was OK that a political door-knocker actually at least partially entered her home. The answer is a simple and emphatic “NO.” And then there was the person who found a political door knocker in their mudroom handling their package. Mind you, this person didn’t ask for help, and the door knocker was a stranger. Not a neighbor, not a friend, not an acquaintance, a stranger who seemed to have serious boundary issues.

Door knockers CAN’T just open people’s doors and decide to leave their crap inside. That is actually TRESPASSING since the have NOT been invited in. There is no “oh they didn’t mean any harm” of it all, it creates issues for all door knockers no matter what political persuasion.

The job of a door knocker is to spread the word…in a neighborly fashion. Not imitate the obnoxiousness of door to door window salesmen from Anderson Renewal or Whitetail Disposal or the annual fly by night driveway resealers/repavers.

If someone doesn’t come to the door, it DOES NOT mean peek in all the windows and crush the plantings. It DOES NOT mean knock louder or incessantly ring the bell. And if someone asks did you not see the no trespassing sign, that is NOT license for arguing that you aren’t selling anything, because technically if you want to play Captain Semantic, you are indeed trying to sell someone a politician.

It does not matter what political party, basic decorum is kind of non-negotiable.

If people don’t want to talk to a door knocker, move onto the next house. Don’t enter their homes even to open a door, don’t peer in the windows, just move on. If they have “No Solicitng” just skip it altogether.

I am going to say that sadly it is being said the door knockers and candidates who are being odd this year are Republicans. So what is the Republican Committee of Chester County doing about this? There is a new chair. So many questions about him, although on a personal level I find him so nice a man.

And a special note to State Representative candidate Gail Newman because she is the, shall we say, most vigorous door knocker of them all? Gail, learn the word no. You are more of a stalker than political candidate.

Thanks for stopping by.

dear chesco gop, our rights are not subjective

Let’s talk about this for a minute. The Republican Committee can “announce” anything they want, but the truth of the matter is unless you agree with them lockstep you’re not welcome. Take drag queens as the most recent example.

Let’s talk about a woman’s right to choose. I’m not talking about WHAT that choice might be, because that is up to the individual woman as in HER business, but the Republican Party in Chester County, in Pennsylvania, and across this country want to REMOVE a woman’s right to choose. No matter where women sit on an issue, they should have the right to make their OWN decisions.

Let’s also talk more locally about the “marginalization“ of parents for a minute. Which parents are they referring to? The ones they agree with or everyone else? Because the ones that they agree with are the ones that disrupt our meetings disrupt public events spread hatred, misinformation, and everything phobic but they are the poor pitiful pearls of the world? They are the ones that everyone is supposed to feel sorry for? What about everyone else?

When the Republican Committee of Chester County is espousing their beliefs, and they’re talking about simple economics, do they actually speak about how much these parents they think are being “marginalized” are actually COSTING school districts and municipalities every year? No of course not, it doesn’t fit the lockstep of their narrowminded narrative, does it?

Most of their candidates are quite literally bullies. The ones who are decent are going to get passed by because of all the crazies that the Republican Committee of Chester County is supporting.

The Republican Committee of Chester County does nothing except support and embrace extremism. The party of Lincoln? Nope. Somewhere the ghost of Lincoln weeps.

I’m allowed to have this opinion, our founding fathers bled and died for it, but the Republican Committee of Chester County sees me as an enemy of their state. Their state is not our state, and so many of their own party members don’t even agree with them.

Our rights as Americans are not subjective, but these people want them to be. So yeah, voters have a choice to make this November and it comes down to the simple difference between right and wrong. The Republican Party of Chester County and all the way up the food chain are wrong.

the chesco gop is inviting a monster to town

Next weekend is a busy fall weekend for communities across Chester County, like the beloved Chester County Day, which is EXACTLY why Republican Committee of Chester County is bringing #Monsteriano to town.

THIS is why Chester County residents need to rise up against THIS event which isn’t about family or community or inclusiveness. This event is about supporting a hate-mongering wannabe dictator who apparently also has been voting in New Jersey? (Google Mastriano and New Jersey)

This event is about supporting hate mongering, bigotry, and every societal phobia known to man. This event is about ugliness.

This event is about removing a woman’s right to choose, a cornerstone of the Monsteriano campaign.

This event is about removing the free and fair part of elections, another Monsteriano campaign cornerstone.

Most importantly, this event is about removing a two-party system from our area, and completely decimating what was once known as the party of Lincoln. The Republican party actually needs to be saved from candidates like Monsteriano because democracy needs to be a real thing, not an abstract thought process. Our country was built on a two party system not a totalitarian regime which is what Monsteriano and other Trump acolytes support.

Here’s hoping Monsteriano gets a warm PEACEFUL protesting welcome to Chester County.

Americans still have the right to assemble peaceably and protest and I really hope hoards of people show up to protest BOTH the Chester County Republican Committee and Monsteriano. If you don’t know Chester County, Kimberton is a beautiful place to visit, and it deserves better than this trash and so does this amazing fire company.

It’s time to take back our region and our state, Pennsylvanians. This is why it is SO important to VOTE this November. As Pennsylvanians we need to take out the trash. We live in such a beautiful state, but it is in an inner state of ugliness. Voting against candidates like #Monsteriano isn’t just a thing to due in November because free and fair elections are a necessity to democracy. And literally if we keep letting in these people, that my friends is what is at risk.

You can also ask Kimberton Fire House to politely cancel this event and give them a donation instead. You can also inundate the Republican Committee of Chester County with emails, letters, and phone calls, as well as municipalities and community leaders who support hate mongering events like bringing a monster to town. Just be polite. Don’t be like them.

Happy Sunday.

#whereisGUY ????

Sometimes I crack myself up. This is one of those times.

One would think after Dr. Oz went to “Wegners”, Republican male candidates would just stay out of the grocery stores. But noooo, Guy Ciarrocchi who has never had an original thought, did a broadcast from Giant.

Now based on what has been said about Guy, going back to 2008, he was from South Philadelphia, right? I would have thought that made him and ACME Markets Guy (Say AK-A-ME)?

( See https://whatkindofguy.wordpress.com/)

Anyway….there he is in Giant checking out the crudité like a good little Oz acolyte.

It’s just so funny. This election season is horrible and hysterical at times.

Read up on Guy Ciarrocchi. His past is his present, his past and present is his future. This leopard doesn’t change his spots. But ask him about his crudité.

https://whatkindofguy.wordpress.com/2008/09/30/cant-decide-who-he-wants-to-be/

but did benjamin franklin actually say that? well even if he didn’t the chester county gop will share it on facebook. they share everything!

Benjamin Franklin. One of my favorite founding fathers and actual patriot. Incredibly bright, and would not survive in the 21st-century in the age of social media because well he had a lot of human failings, didn’t he?

(But I digress, look at all the politicians running this year, after all.)

The thing I always love is when people misquote and misattribute famous people. This is no different.

You see this quotehas been both misquoted and misattributed since January 6, 2021. And the Republican Party of Chester County‘s champion for governor is Doug Mastriano or as I like to call him, Monsteriano. This man is no patriot. Far from it. He took part in the January 6, 2021 insurrection. Yes, he took part in the assault on our Nation’s Capital. Oh and apparently until July 2021, he was registered to vote in New Jersey.

Registered to vote in New Jersey for all those years? While he was a Pennsylvania State Senator? So does that mean Monsteriano has been double dipping and perpetrating election fraud?

Rolling Stone: Doug Mastriano Was Registered to Vote in New Jersey Until … Last Year
BY RYAN BORT
SEPTEMBER 16, 2022 12:39PM EDT

What’s happening in Pennsylvania? Dr. Oz is not their only major candidate from: Doug Mastriano voted in NJ year before running for PA governor |

Monsteriano is voting in New Jersey, running for Governor in PA, being a State Senator from PA, and all the other stuff and this is the guy that the Chester County Republican Party thinks is the second coming of Christ? I would say that’s crazy and you can’t make that stuff up, except this is definitely a case of the truth is stranger than fiction.

But back to Monsteriano and other Trump babies misquoting and misattributing Benjamin Franklin.

I will start with a great article from the Washington Post: https://wapo.st/3Skb2id

Washington Post RETROPOLIS

‘A republic, if you can keep it’: Did Ben Franklin really say Impeachment Day’s favorite quote?

Here’s the history behind the quote.

By Gillian Brockell December 18, 2019 at 6:36 p.m. EST

These are the times that try historians’ souls.

The Founding Fathers had a big day on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, as members of Congress debated articles of impeachment against President Trump.

George Washington was frequently invoked — of course. Thomas Jefferson got the nod from Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-Va.). Rep. Katherine M. Clark (D-Mass.) brought up Abigail Adams. And Rep. Al Green (D-Tex.) even referenced a deep cut from George Mason.

But none of the founders had the day Benjamin Franklin had. As the story was told and retold on the House floor, Franklin was walking out of Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention in 1787, when someone shouted out, “Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?”

To which Franklin supposedly responded, with a rejoinder at once witty and ominous: “A republic, if you can keep it.”…..So, did Franklin actually say that?

Well, maybe.

Probably.

With some changes.

The quote doesn’t appear in any of Franklin’s writings, nor in the transcripts of the convention debate, nor in any contemporaneous newspaper accounts.

According to quote trackers Bartleby and the Yale Book of Quotations, it first appeared in 1906 in the American Historical Review. But that doesn’t mean it comes from the 20th century; the Review was publishing for the first time the notes of James McHenry, a Maryland delegate to the Constitutional Convention. This is what he wrote: “A lady asked Dr. Franklin Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy. A republic replied the Doctor if you can keep it.”…

. It was a “lady” who asked him, not just “someone.” But the location of the alleged exchange, outside Independence Hall, does not appear here.

Zara Anishanslin, a history professor at the University of Delaware, recently wrote in The Washington Post that even more details are known than that. In fact, in McHenry’s original notes, he included the footnote, “The lady here alluded to was Mrs. Powel of Philad[elphi]a.”

Mrs. Powel is Elizabeth Willing Powel, a prominent society figure and the wife of Philadelphia Mayor Samuel Powel. Like Franklin, Powel was known for her wit and knowledge. She often hosted convention delegates and their wives in her home….Though the anecdote didn’t become well-known until the 20th century, it must have gotten at least a modicum of attention in the 19th century…..Franklin’s witticisms often carry an ominous tinge — and were often edited. Another of his famous quotes from that era comes just after Washington had been elected the first president.

“The first man put at the helm will be a good one. Nobody knows what sort may come afterwards,” he said.

But that isn’t the full quote. He continued, “The executive will be always increasing here, as elsewhere, till it ends in a monarchy.”

Oh and one other salient truth about this anecdotal quote is that it probably took place in Mrs. Powell’s home, it definitely didn’t take place on the street outside of Independence Hall during the Constitutional Convention. They make it sound like some wizened crone hobbled up to him and asked him a question.

So we also never, ever want the truth to get in the way of anything with the Republican Committee of Chester County and their social media wonks. I will note however that the post about the drag queen event in West Chester they had up seems to have disappeared? Interesting, yes?

Oh and look what else the Republican Committee of Chester County is posting:

But hey we know that the Chester County Republican Committee isn’t racist, transphobic or homophobic, or everything else phobic right?

What we can say is they post early and often in bad taste and so does the Chester County Coalition of Republican Women. Please see next example:

And I have to share one of their welcome to Stepford comments:

So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, we are a country operating without a president according to them. And regardless of their crazed conspiracy theories, to show such blatant disrespect for the newly deceased Queen Elizabeth II is appalling.

And every organization affiliated end/the Republican Committee of Chester County does this crazy stuff. It’s like they have no filter. And that is what’s terrifying about what they have turned the Republican Party into. And they do a disservice for any decent Republican anywhere. They also provide a rare opportunity for Pennsylvania Democrats.

TTFN readers.

“Our new Constitution is now established, everything seems to promise it will be durable; but, in this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes.”

~benjamin franklin (an actual quote)

election day 2021 in chester county pa: time to watch the watchers

Well, it has been a heck of a few days, hasn’t it? The Republican Party of Chester County grows increasingly desperate. They have backed candidates who believe in nasty political fantasy, were at the January 6th insurrection, and more. This is so far from the party of Lincoln it’s shocking. It’s not even the party of Ronald Reagan, and what would he and other great Republicans think of today?

Just look at the full page advertisement that the Republican Party of Chester County ran in the Daily Local. It is stunning that the local paper would not know that sometimes there are things more important than ad revenue. That ad was so distasteful.

Now a bunch of hours ago, Chester County Republicans were quoting Thomas Jefferson. Also ironic since they can’t seem to grasp that they are trying to undo the very things our founding fathers fought and bled for, isn’t it?

And then there are PACs of former US Congressmen who once served our area, albeit briefly. Look who they are giving money to, and remember that when they decide to run for office again.

And January 6th. Well the county GOP can run but they cannot hide:

Insurrection is not patriotism. Putting out the word to essentially intimate voters, poll workers is not patriotism. Potential voting interference is not patriotism. Stealing political signs off the lawn of a registered Republican is not patriotism.

The Republican Party of Chester County is not about patriotism, but they are all about attempting to be petty despots aren’t they? And their actions hurt the GOOD Republicans trying to run here and there in various corners of Chester County. Their insanity proves they don’t actually care about what the Republican Party used to stand for.

The only way to stop this is to VOTE. And if you are harassed, intimidated, or bothered at the polls by these new types of Republicans, report it. Call the police if necessary. You see, for all of the ways these people will tell you they are afraid of things like Communism or Nazism, what are they actually doing by their very actions? They fear dictatorships and Totalitarianism yet what are their actions saying they are actually doing?

Our founding fathers did not flee oppression and more for us to be experiencing it today, did they?

That’s it. Get out and VOTE.
