bless their hearts, fan mail (they shouldn’t have)

I so look forward to my fan mail! It’s so delightful the way todays “conservatives” and “Republicans” react to criticism or something they don’t like, you know like famous 6th District Congressional Candidate Guy #whereisGUY Ciarrocchhiiii? Yes I added some letters to his name, it adds a creative touch (You’re welcome Guy!)

Please note I put “conservatives” or “Republicans” in air quotes because essentially they aren’t either. They are a gene mutation and actually don’t understand what it is to be either. These are the people killing the Party of Lincoln one piece of nastiness at a time. These are the people who think every kind of phobic is o.k. and what happened January 6, 2021 was just a harmless parade.

Well I don’t believe today’s fab fan mail came from any candidate or their campaign, but it was in response to my post miles to go before we sleep.

Imagine this: they called me a pig. So imaginative, and why just the other day I was just a fat slob! And Oh they use my entire name like that is supposed to intimidate me, and they list an email address I don’t have. Gosh, they are so original!

Please note I edited their name. I can actually do that. Here was their eloquent message:

I am a bully pig and liberal moron and I am supposed to sit around all day and eat and get fatter. Bless your heart for caring about my well being!

It is a toss up if this writer was male or female, not that it matters.

It’s kind of funny, isn’t it? They are completely unable to have a conversation so they do this? And mind you, these are the people whole live in moral fear and indignation over drag queens. Imagine what their children are learning at home?

This is the world these people live in: we must see things their way, repeat after them. That’s it, that’s all. Gosh ummmm…. NOPE.

Once again I marvel that people like this spawn.

And I am actually not so liberal. But socially liberal to these people (or just having a brain and using it) is like walking the earth with a green head and purple tongue. And hey they also like projecting and calling random good people racists too. They are just so original they need that paper gold star they envy that first grader for. Oh and yes, lest we forget, these are the people who complain about bullying in school. Can you imagine? (drip, drip heavy sarcasm intended.)

What evs.

Hide in the shadows, take nasty predictable potshots at me, threaten me, harass me and what will happen beside law enforcement eventually coming a calling in your direction? People will stand up to you, and that includes actual conservatives and true Republicans. Not because I am so important, or important at all, but because they are tired of what you haters represent and the fact you are the ones ruining this country.

It’s a shame the Island of Misfit Toys doesn’t have room for all of you.

Kiss kiss haters. God don’t like ugly.

sometimes you’re in, sometimes you’re out…one day he’s ron the rep, next day he’s ron the realtor…

Ronnie the Realtor has made a Sybil-like reversal to Ronnie the Wannabe Rep again.

Yesterday we heard he was suspending his campaign. Yesterday we heard if he didn’t suspend his campaign the Chester County Republican Party was going to censure him. (Read about it HERE.)

So now it’s another day and Lil’ Ronnie has UN-suspended his campaign.

WEST CHESTER —Chester County Realtor Ron Vogel said this afternoon he is back in the race for the Republican nomination for the 6th Congressional District, after a 24-hour break.

Vogel, 36, of Chester Springs, said he suspended his campaign after publicity about old social media reports that were taken out of context.

“I am still in the race,” Vogel said. “I took a break to have a team huddle.”

“Team Huddle”?

Ok Chester County GOP you voted to censure him if he didn’t comply, so time to step up.

And I’m going to share some of the screenshots. These are woman hating and homophobic.

Yeah Ron, love is love if you actually know how to love. How does whom people choose to have as their life partners, husbands, wives, whatever affect your life personally?

I actually feel sorry for his family. Because I doubt any of them signed up for this.

This entire issue with this candidate shows you how weak and dysfunctional Chester County Republican Party actually is. I said already once this week that you would think they would have learned the consequences of not vetting candidates after the school board shit show as far as elections this past fall.

Enjoy your Waterloo, Ronnie boy. Or Battle of Berlin.

Somewhere, Lincoln is weeping.

local elections DO matter

Soon it will be election day.  It’s an off-year nationally one might think, so why bother?

Easy.  Your vote is YOUR voice in YOUR community. This year is a more local focus….supervisors, commissioners, borough council members, mayors, city councils — just depends on where you live as to what and who you are voting for.

Local candidates are now more seriously making the rounds.  They will pop up spiffed and shined to check out community events, civic associations, and so on and so forth.  Yes, be warned, literal baby-kissing may ensue.

They may even come door-knocking. Where I live (in my opinion)  they are inconsistent at best on the door-knocking, or if they do show and you do vote for them, often you do not hear from them ever again, after that.

Be informed.  And don’t just vote for someone because they may share the political party you are told you should vote for.  Why?  Because on a local level, that is NOT what matters.  What matters is who they are, and what they stand for, and if you find them passably believable.  On the local level, you should vote the PERSON, not the PARTY. Because trust me, in spite of what they say, it has been my long standing belief that on a local level, political parties will often make deals with each other, and well, how do you feel about that?

I believe in balance.  Saying that, I do not think you have balance necessarily if one group of the same people (which is NOT the same as the same party) is in control for too long.

I believe in term limits.  We need to get some of those. It’s time to curb political monopolies.

Don’t be afraid of checking out the new kids on the block, but make sure you understand what they are truly about.  Also check out WHO endorses them, WHO backs them, WHO gives them campaign donations, and WHO they hang out with politically.  The more independent, the better in my humble opinion.

And in as far as incumbents you think may have been around long enough? Simple motto: when in doubt, vote ’em out.

The sanctity of the voting booth is for you alone, so vote your heart and conscience always.

And above all else, vote.  Your individual power of the vote is a powerful voice. Be the change you seek. Take back the power in your communities. Vote.

not my tea party

20131025-184600.jpg

Greetings Chester County voters. It’s me, your friendly neighborhood blogger. Maybe the Bill Holmes campaign in East Whiteland isn’t going so well?

I am thinking so because it has come to my attention that either the Democratic Party of Chester County or the Democratic Party of East Whiteland seem to have an awful lot to say about this blog and blogger.  Seriously, there is this woman whom I don’t know and have never met and who I am told is not just a Democrat in charge in East Whiteland but head of the party in ALL of Chester County and who is all in a swivet over me and isn’t that just kooky?

They and she don’t know me from Adam’s house cat, yet VOILA! they are making rather amusing pronouncements. They are putting it out there that I am (among other things)…wait for it… a TEA PARTIER!!!

Me? For real? Do my opinions make them that nervous?

Lordy… ask most Republicans and they will tell you I am an inconvenient Republican at best. Truthfully I am a lot of the time almost a New England Democrat as I am socially liberal and fiscally conservative.

Not that any of this matters because I know what I am and who I am and am quite comfortable in my own skin. Which is more than you can say about idle political gossip mongers.

I am an equal opportunity offender when it comes to politics, and feel free to express my opinion when the mood strikes me. Truthfully I would become an Independent if it did not mean losing my right to vote in primary elections.

As for the Tea Party, I am definitely not one of their chosen people because my opinion of that movement is they are quite frankly ruining the Republican Party.

So this is indeed a fine how de do to politics in Chester County and I very amused and also saddened that a bunch of Democrats would have a problem with any woman exercising her right to choose….politically.

And (big sigh) at the end of the day what this is really and truly about is these political titans are threatened by my friend Maureen Martinez who is running for Supervisor in East Whiteland.

I mean gosh oh golly, why else would they do all the silly things they have been doing? So when they can’t do anything productive all of a sudden because we are two women with opinions we are Tea Partiers? Me-OW! That is as Simple Simon as saying any woman who exercises a strong opinion about anything is a bitch.

What saddens me here in addition,  is it is difficult  for any woman anywhere to get any traction in politics. So here is this head of a political party who happens to be female running around doing this stuff which is so childish. Democrat or Republican, actions like these set women back, plain and simple. And I am not some huge bra burning women’s libber saying that, it just happens to be the truth.

The irony is of course I have no political aspirations, I am merely one woman exercising my freedom of speech. This is hardly all I write about. Truthfully it is a very small component of it.

I guess this whole issue is an interesting testament to the power of the written word? But is it really good politics to try to sully the name of a breast cancer survivor she’s never even met during Breast Cancer Awareness Month? I guess this issue is also testament to the nature of women which is so disappointing at times isn’t it? Women should be kinder to each other and for me personally, this is a takeaway lesson.

Geez Chesco Dems you are being silly , silly, silly….it’s like high school all over again. But if you wanted to find a tea party here, you won’t.

Maybe y’all should spend a little more time on your candidates and educating them on real issues that matter to people versus this kind of whisper down the lane nonsense that demeans you and your candidates equally.

Happy Friday all!
