Benjamin Franklin. One of my favorite founding fathers and actual patriot. Incredibly bright, and would not survive in the 21st-century in the age of social media because well he had a lot of human failings, didn’t he?
(But I digress, look at all the politicians running this year, after all.)
The thing I always love is when people misquote and misattribute famous people. This is no different.
You see this quotehas been both misquoted and misattributed since January 6, 2021. And the Republican Party of Chester County‘s champion for governor is Doug Mastriano or as I like to call him, Monsteriano. This man is no patriot. Far from it. He took part in the January 6, 2021 insurrection. Yes, he took part in the assault on our Nation’s Capital. Oh and apparently until July 2021, he was registered to vote in New Jersey.
Registered to vote in New Jersey for all those years? While he was a Pennsylvania State Senator? So does that mean Monsteriano has been double dipping and perpetrating election fraud?
Monsteriano is voting in New Jersey, running for Governor in PA, being a State Senator from PA, and all the other stuff and this is the guy that the Chester County Republican Party thinks is the second coming of Christ? I would say that’s crazy and you can’t make that stuff up, except this is definitely a case of the truth is stranger than fiction.
But back to Monsteriano and other Trump babies misquoting and misattributing Benjamin Franklin.
Oh and one other salient truth about this anecdotal quote is that it probably took place in Mrs. Powell’s home, it definitely didn’t take place on the street outside of Independence Hall during the Constitutional Convention. They make it sound like some wizened crone hobbled up to him and asked him a question.
What we can say is they post early and often in bad taste and so does the Chester County Coalition of Republican Women. Please see next example:
And I have to share one of their welcome to Stepford comments:
So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, we are a country operating without a president according to them. And regardless of their crazed conspiracy theories, to show such blatant disrespect for the newly deceased Queen Elizabeth II is appalling.
And every organization affiliated end/the Republican Committee of Chester County does this crazy stuff. It’s like they have no filter. And that is what’s terrifying about what they have turned the Republican Party into. And they do a disservice for any decent Republican anywhere. They also provide a rare opportunity for Pennsylvania Democrats.
TTFN readers.
“Our new Constitution is now established, everything seems to promise it will be durable; but, in this world, nothing is certain except death and taxes.”
Sooooo….apparently being drag queen phobic, transphobic, homophobic, anything and everything phobic is a Chester County Republican thing? And of course West Chester Borough Republicans are the ones with the QAnon Princess, #AnonymousAda as a committee person, right?
Apparently they are all in a lather over a drag queen show. Which is such a shame because the new Chesco GOP chair, #WhereIsGUY, and the man from Oz would make fabulous drag queens, wouldn’t they?
I guess I just don’t understand what the big deal is over this. No one is forcing anyone to attend these events, you go because you want to. These people should be ashamed of themselves for their ugliness, but they are only self-righteous.
What would happen if drag queens posed for event photos outside of the Chester County Republican HQ at 15 S. Church Street in the Borough of West Chester? Or showed up at the next West Chester Borough Council Meeting in drag to protest the protesters with polite public comment? There is a meeting tomorrow, September 20, right? Or what if drag queens called a press conference on the steps of the old courthouse in West Chester to discuss this with the media?
Anyway, just another ugly night in Chester County with those who call themselves members of the party of Lincoln , errr, Trump. Don’t worry MAGA heads, your daddy is proud. It’s just the rest of us, including members of your own party who are appalled.
Yesterday Saint Theresa of West Whiteland didn’t like something I said. I mean imagine that? A politician not liking something a blogger says?
Truthfully, she probably doesn’t like most of what I say. I am fine with that. I made a comment about her not appearing at a local community event when the other two supervisors of West Whiteland and other public officials did. Now was that poking a very unpleasant bear? Yeah probably, BUT why did I point this out? Simple: when the other two supervisors appear at public events and she is not there she has huge problems with that doesn’t she? So it was just a pre-emptive strike, truthfully.
At 10:07 PM last night, on a Saturday, I was finally the recipient of what is know as “Theresa gold.” She messaged my personal Facebook page looking for a fight. We do not know each other, I do not choose to engage with angry out of control politicians AND MOST IMPORTANTLY? It was 10:07 PM and isn’t that just rude? Where are her boundaries? Ooops sorry to ask semi-rhetorical questions.
I will note that Supervisor Saint Teresa messaged me at 10:07 PM to say it was none of my business, that she was absent from the community event because her daughter is apparently ill and she wasn’t resigning. She’s right, it’s not my business, but she’s made it everyone’s business, as I was told that she posted it on her page as well. (see screenshot)
I hope her daughter recovers, but it doesn’t change my opinion that this is a rather unpleasant local politician who should not be in office. She also shouldn’t message people late in the evening. It’s also questionable that she makes her family business public like a political tool, which truthfully, isn’t that so sad? She could have simply (1) messaged her fellow supervisors and said she had a family emergency and wouldn’t be at local events on Saturday or (2) put out a statement later congratulating residents and others for wonderful community events that bring communities together for the greater good and she was so sorry she was unable to be there. Truthfully, if she was smart like that she would have silenced any criticism instantly. But she has no style, does she?
Flash forward 7 hours or at 1 AM, Supervisor Saint Theresa of West Whiteland continued her conversation with her sycophants (or maybe just herself?) about me. So here she is, a public official with her pathetic attempt at doxxing someone who is well…not a public official.
Theresa doesn’t seem to grasp in her latest somewhat gaseous explosion of hate and vitriol, that there was NOT going to be some back and forth because I was not having some back and forth with her at after 10 PM or at any point. She has a habit of messaging people late at night whom she doesn’t know.
This is a person who is incapable of having a dialogue with anyone, and she proves it during most public meetings.
This is a person who is a politician who uses her office as a bully pulpit. If I was a resident in her township she would probably try to send someone from the township to try to intimidate or harass me, wouldn’t she?
This is a politician who has issues with pretty much everyone, including political higher ups within her own party whom she should actually attempt to cultivate, and isn’t that just common sense? She is a politician whom other politicians look away from, isn’t she?
This is the local politician who tried to just literally order West Whiteland’s now former finance person who was also a former supervisor to cut a big old check to the former manager whose contract wasn’t renewed without going through proper channels, remember? For that alone as one example of ethically and morally wonky she should have been removed from office, shouldn’t she have?
This is a person whose Facebook page I don’t actually follow and people collect screenshots on, just like they did overnight. “Hey she’s talking about you” was the message. “Of course she is.” was my reply. What I will add here is I now join the ranks of every one of her constituents and others I know she has harangued from her Facebook page or in some social media forum if they don’t tow her line. This is a person who can’t ever seem to keep it together for even public meetings, so is it any wonder MANY people want her to resign? And was this not the woman who this past January started the year in West Whiteland by accusing a new supervisor who has familial ties and the incoming solicitor of nefarious things at a public meeting?
And let us never forget the politician who called the police on sidewalk chalk?
Theresa you are a politician who is a troll and you called me one, so “meh” on that insult. I also don’t have to justify my existence to you in this world, never have. Neither do any of the constituents or others who challenge who and what you are as a politician, although should it be said you are worthy of an ethics inquiry?
Can I get you to resign? I don’t believe I have that power, although I do believe you should resign, and freedom of speech allows me to articulate that comment. As often as I choose.
The comment Saint Theresa makes about my replacing her with a friend is curious, don’t you think? Do I have a friend running against her? Her term ends in 2024, correct? Is a friend in this case literally anyone who runs against her? Asking for a friend.
And finally, because she is obviously a social media Luddite even though she misuses it so regularly, I blocked her on messenger when she messaged me after 10 PM on a Saturday night, so I cut nothing off, I couldn’t see it and when she went to hit send she would have been told that she could no longer reply to the conversation. She was never interested in a conversation, I was merely a target to scream at in that moment.
Saint Theresa of West Whiteland always is the champion of pretzel logic or bad spin. As well as her own worst enemy every time she opens her mouth.
She calls me a troll with a capital T like it is a nationality. That’s actually pretty funny. Maybe I am my own race and nationality now??? Cool!!!!!
She is the one using her adult child as a political prop and public sympathy attempt. I am not. She made whatever her adult daughter is experiencing public, as in a public post. That’s her choice, but not my fault. I have not said anything disparaging about her daughter, nor would I. I hope she gets well soon.
I don’t hide Theresa, I am right here saying out loud that you are a deeply troubled woman unfit for public office. You make your entire township and Chester County Democrats look bad every single time you open your mouth.
Save your pity for yourself Saint Theresa, except that is part of the problem and always has been, hasn’t it? How you see yourself? You do any woman who would ever wish to run for public office a disservice. Truthfully you kind of act like Marjorie Taylor Greene a lot of the time and that is saying something, isn’t it?
If making me your latest target of public posts happy Saint Theresa, that’s on you entirely. But all you are doing is digging yourself a bigger political grave and proving every single critic right. And oh my goodness, the Chester County Democrats should be embarrassed to have you as one of their own.
(And by the way, Saint Theresa by now has deleted or hid her latest crazed screenshots about me from overnight including the public one mentioning her poor daughter. Sadly she doesn’t get that DOESN’T make them go away. It’s like she gets social media Tourette’s syndrome. Seriously, that is a thing.)
And as someone who is probably better versed in the history of Pennsylvania than she who skews life, a reminder that pilgrims weren’t the only ones to come to Pennsylvania or to the new world. And all who came before us would be appalled by the behavior of this local politician. They didn’t fight for her to muck things up, did they? Or did they give us the freedom of our mistakes? If so, why does she never have ownership of her mistakes? She flips out, and thinks deleting everything is all she has to do.
And last night? If she had just let it go and accepted I had no desire to correspond with her after 10 PM at night, let alone sit there and be her whipping girl on messenger, we wouldn’t be here. I would have just laughed about it privately and moved on. But she took it to that next level, made it public, had to be extra nasty. She is an elected official. This isn’t some random flame war on social media.
Bless her heart, Theresa Hogan Santalucia still doesn’t get it.
Oh and Theresa? The grammar police are coming for you 🤣
Mt. Pleasant is truly a historically important part of Tredyffrin. And so undervalued it’s horrible.
Because Tredyffrin did not deal with student rentals for so long, this is also where student housing slumlords have set up quite the slumlord student rental shop going back years and years. Suffice it to say, the college students who rent there have historically treated an entire historic area like animal house.
I would like Tredyffrin to take a look at the historic value of Mount Pleasant. They never really have.
The Carr House on the corner of Upper Gulph and Radnor Street Road was built c. 1774. The Carr School was built in 1833. Another house close by according to the deed was built around 1789. 961 Mt. Pleasant Avenue was built around 1810. 941 Mt. Pleasant was built around 1860.
And what about the significance of Mount Pleasant over the past 100 years plus as a historic black neighborhood? Let alone a community which survives to this day? Generational residents? I think that’s pretty freaking cool.
You notice a house in a photo above. I don’t even know if it’s still standing, because it was targeted for demolition years ago. It was the home of revered community leader and civil rights activist, Mazie B. Hall.
Now this where I have always been puzzled about Tredyffrin. They have bragging rights to Mazie Hall since she lived in Mt. Pleasant. I think they even named a park after her. So why not honor her 103 years on this earth by trying to preserve the community she fought for and called home? Every time I hear anything about Mt. Pleasant I feel like they are trying to erase what it is, or just deny it’s existence.
Now I knew Miss Collins as I called her. I used to wait on her when I worked at Bryn Mawr Feed & Seed a million years ago. She loved to garden. She would show up in her crazy beat up old station wagon and I was the one who would wait on her. I worked there at that nursery after I stopped working in New York. I was totally disenchanted at that time by the financial services industry and decided to explore my passion for gardening professionally. (Suffice it to say working for the widow who inherited and eventually shuttered the business almost killed my joy of gardening for a while, but that is a story for another day.)
So sorry for going off on a tangent, but when I think of Mazie Hall and all that she accomplished, I think of Miss Collins. And when I think of Mt. Pleasant, I think of Mazie Hall. And that’s part of the historical context of Mt. Pleasant. The history matters.
Back to Mt. Pleasant. It still suffers from off campus student housing woes and 2022 is no exception. Now depending on the year there are some houses that aren’t so bad, and then there are other years where all the off-campus houses in Mt. Pleasant are bad. This year I’m going to start with one house in particular.
This house is a real party palace. and if they were smart college students and just didn’t throw ragers seemingly every Friday afternoon, maybe they wouldn’t bother their neighbors so much? The house is the student rental at 985 Mt. Pleasant.
I am told the Tredyffrin Police were there around 5 PM. And then I think a bit after that. And apparently again at some point after 8 PM. I am told the first two visits were just one officer, but the third visit around eight was at least two officers.
The kids put up blue tarps so neighbors can’t see in the back, but you can hear them just fine. Super loud.
And the thing is this, there are some college students who coexist in residential neighborhoods with absolutely not a problem. They do their thing, their neighbors do their own thing and it’s fine. But then you have the ones who do the animal house. And the sad thing is Mt. Pleasant is one of those areas that is victimized by the student houses every year.
Like I said before, some years are better than others. This year I’m only hearing about this house so far . I actually heard that there were a couple of other rentals that the landlords stopped renting to students and started renting to regular people, and residents in Mt. Pleasant think it is so nice to see flowers outside instead of old beer cans.
It’s time for Tredyffrin Township to show Mt. Pleasant some respect. They also need to actually pay attention to off-campus student housing, not just pay it lipservice.
And the kids that live off campus? Do we really think the majority of them would behave this way where they grew up? I mean there’s no knowing for sure, we know they want freedom and they want to have fun, but they just need to remember they’re living and co-existing with people who have real jobs, have families, and are entitled to a reasonable expectation of quiet enjoyment where they live.
And to off campus student housing landlords? Just because you don’t live there, it should still be a little bit more than an income investment. You have also invested in another community. Try to give a damn once in a while, eh?
Tonight NBC10 Investigators did a new report. I am not sure what was breaking new ground, other than they got the Pennsylvania State Police to talk about the case. They did reiterate her husband, Allan Gould, is still a person of interest. That was kind of new, right?
I, like many others, wonder why the district attorney in Chester County has been mum on this case quite literally? Why didn’t they have anything to say in this report?
I was glad to see Anna’s parents interviewed. I wonder if they get to see their grandson?
Hopefully now thanks to NBC10 in Philadelphia, more media will pick up Anna’s story.
But one small correction: the flyers may have faded away, but Anna Maciejewska has not faded from our minds.
I am sure Radnor Township and many other municipalities are thrilled that I have decided to “phocus” on Philadelphia today.
It’s always hard to say what the most negative thing is about Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at present. And as a native born Philadelphian, I don’t say this lightly.
Filthadelphia and Crimeadelphia are two of my favorite nicknames. I was born in Philadelphia in the mid-1960s. We lived there with my parents until the mid-1970s. I saw a lot even as a kid, and one of the things that finally drove my parents from the city in the mid-1970s was crime. And it was crime in part that happened to a friend of mine and myself. We were riding our bicycles in our neighborhood and we were jumped by a gang of kids from elsewhere. We were literally two little girls riding our bikes. And because we didn’t have anything worth taking, including our bicycles, they instead smashed the glasses of my friend into her face.
As a grew up I watched Philadelphia have fits and starts of a renaissance. During the Bill Green years (94th mayor), the Ed Rendell years (96th mayor), and with the Michael Nutter years (98th) you often felt better about the City of Philadelphia. A fun, unrelated fact is one Philadelphia mayor, J. Hampton Moore, who was the 83rd and 86th mayor and a member of Congress lived at one time in the house we called home in Society Hill when I was little. The current lame duck mayor is Jim Kenney. He is the 99th mayor of the City of Philadelphia.
To me, Jim Kenney is like the Dr. Oz of Philadelphia mayors of recent history. Started out talking a big game, but there’s nothing to back it up. And now he’s just a lame duck who limps along. And then if you look at what else is happening today, it’s like every day you wonder if someone else resigned from Philadelphia City Council to run for mayor?
Philadelphia is a major city in shambles. Crime literally runs the city, and the city is also literally filthy. There is trash everywhere and then if you look at the streets within the city of Philadelphia, and the sidewalks, they are like a giant hazard every day. From potholes to broken sidewalks, random holes in sidewalks to where grates are missing and someone could actually fall in some kind of a hole and really hurt themselves, Philadelphia is disgusting. And this is so horrible because Philadelphia is the birthplace of America!
So today when I saw a post on Facebook from a friend of mine it was like I can’t keep my mouth shut any longer. This friend of mine is an artist, he is one of the premier portraitists in the United States today, and probably extending as far as different parts of the world like Europe.
His name is Garth Herrick. He is not some kind of flashy, showboating artist, he’s a working artist. He is a gentle soul and a kind person and humble. He’s the kind of person that would stop to help you if you were in distress and he would do it even if he didn’t know you. He’s just a good person. Because he lives in the city he often rides his bike because look at Philadelphia? Do you ever try to park on the street Philadelphia? Or what happens if you give up a space? Also, he is an avid cyclist in general and he cycles everywhere.
He was going down the street in the right direction, sounds like a smaller street or something like that, and he encountered a cab coming the wrong way. What ensued is absolutely nuts, and essentially the cab driver beat the crap out of him.
After ramming Garth on his bike with his cab, it was recounted that then the cab driver got out of his car and went after Garth and his bike. Garth had nowhere to go and had warned the cab driver he was going the wrong way on a narrow one-way street. I think the cab driver sounded like he was screaming at my friend to get out of his way. The only problem with that is there were actually cars behind my friend as well proceeding in the proper direction. I don’t think he had much of anywhere to go?
According to what he said, and a statement that he and apparently another witness gave to the police it was a cab driver from Germantown Cab Company. The witness actually got the license plate according to what Garth posted.
Now let’s get to the rest of this. Germantown Cab Company has been in the news before. Not positive.
Philadelphia Business Journal and NBC 10report that the Philadelphia Parking Authority has shut down Germantown Cab Company, taking 150 taxis off the streets for allegedly failing to turn over proper documentation and background checks on the company’s drivers.
But that’s not the only thing. Apparently the Philadelphia Police Department didn’t show up for an hour and a half to the scene and how is that even possible????? My friend turned down their offer of medical assistance and friends took him to a local hospital to be treated that he was comfortable with. (Because that’s the thing in addition that makes this hard, when they send an ambulance or whatever to take you to a hospital it’s not necessarily where you want to go.)
My elderly mother has been accosted more than twice in front of her building in what is considered a good neighborhood by mentally ill homeless vagrants. The last time it happened it was so bad that someone kindly jumped out of a car on the street and pulled the homeless man off of my mother who was sitting on a bench next to the front door of her apartment building. When I asked my mother why she didn’t call the police she told me because when you call the police in Philadelphia a lot of the time they don’t show up or they show up hours later.
You hear horror stories about crime everywhere. But in Philadelphia it’s extra special. They have a police officer shortage to begin with, and a lot of controversy over what they call “extended tours“ for officers.
And I think a lot of this as far as the total deterioration of Philadelphia can be laid directly at the feet of lame duck Mayor Jim Kenney. He is what my great aunt from South Philadelphia would have referred to as a “bum.”
So Kenney, what are you going to do here, yo.? Why am I writing about this? Because this isn’t the end of the story. And I think this also needs airing.
When my friend was waiting for police to arrive, he posted about what happened including a photo of his battered face in his local Facebook group in Germantown. Some people were sympathetic, but others were downright terrible. He was accused of being like the living embodiment of white privilege to being called a “Karen.”
I have screenshots of these comments, but I am choosing not to share them. I think they would only serve to inflame tensions in a very beleaguered section of Philadelphia which is just tired of crime.
But victim shaming/blaming is just something I find reprehensible.
I have to ask have we stooped so low as a society that we can’t exhibit any compassion or kindness? And again my friend is a salt of the earth kind of human being, he is just simply a really good guy. I also wonder if in this instance if he wasn’t a guy reporting a crime within his local Facebook group while waiting for the police if it would have made a difference?
So that is it for this sad story of crime and victim shaming straight from the streets of Philadelphia.
I think we all need to do better and try harder no matter where we live. And here’s hoping that the City of Philadelphia does something about this. Enough law and disorder.
Hi there! It’s me your friendly neighborhood kitchen sink cook here. I am really making a concerted effort because of inflation vis-à-vis food costs to cook with what I have on hand, and not go out of my way for extra special items.
I had some beautiful cod fillets in the freezer, we get seafood every few months from Wild Alaskan Seafood Company. We only buy sustainable fish, and generally speaking, it’s a lot of “white” fish.
And one of the things I like in the winter is cod stew. I have actually written about it here before. But I don’t feel like the winter heaviness so I decided to go it slightly different.
In my cupboard I had an unopened jar of red curry paste. So I decided a red curry sauce it was. I sliced up two onions thin and halved – like semi-circles. To that I added four diced cloves of garlic, a little extra-virgin olive oil, a little salt. I needed a little moisture there while I was cooking the onions down so I added a couple dashes of this German red wine vinegar I have.
Once the onions were cooked, I added a 15 ounce can of these little Mutti tomatoes. They literally look like miniature plum tomatoes. I also added a couple of tablespoons of tomato paste and fresh basil. I smashed the little tomatoes before adding them to the pan to release all their juices. Once that started to come together in the pan on a low to medium flame watching it so it didn’t boil, I added about 3 1/2 tablespoons of red curry paste. I use the Thai Kitchen curry paste if you’re interested.
After the sauce came together, I took my next step. I opened one can of classic coconut milk unsweetened. It is either a 15 ounce can or maybe it’s a 14 ounce can, I forget. I gently incorporated all of the coconut milk into the tomato onion basil sauce, and added a few more leaves of basil and turned the sauce to low.
Next I took my cod fillets out of the refrigerator and put them onto a plate. I added a little salt and pepper to both sides and let them sit for a minute. Now they have been added in to the red curry sauce and everybody’s cooking nicely on a lowish flame.
I am making rice with saffron to go with it. It’s very simple, it was so easy to make, yes the recipe came out of my head, and finally the sauce tastes amazing!
Sigh….when it comes to this crap, it’s always wait, there is more. No horse in this race at all, just posting the crazy amount of public record court documents. Another Federal Lawsuit involving another Chester County school district, Tredyffrin-Easttown School District.
Because this is TESD, this falls smack dab into the back yard of she who would be state representative, Sarah Marvin. Where is Sarah Marvin on this case and other school board issues? Remember she was a plaintiff in the anti-masking case, right? And I am sure with these other cases and issues she is being told to be invisible, but hey can’t be a little bit preggers here, can you? But I digress…
Buckle your seat belts here come the documents. So how much will this cost taxpayers? It’s a shame the morally righteous who pose as fiscally conservative don’t care about that, right?
Photo on the Internet and in Delaware Valley Journal and in fundraiser site updates.
It’s back to school season and it’s also back to school with the latest bunch of litigation and litigants whom in my opinion are wasting school district and school board time and wasting taxpayer monies. THAT is a legitimate opinion, and allowed by law.
Further and to the point, there is a parent named Fenicia Redman suing Great Valley School District, school board members, Governor Wolf, Attorney General Josh Shapiro, local police officers, and whomever else she can fit on a docket. She is representing herself pro se in Federal Court in front of Judge Nitza I. Quiñones Alejandro. If you want to know how to contact anyone in this esteemed Judge’s office, CLICK HERE.
I am posting publicly available information on this case, because I think it is in the interest of residents of this school district, this county, this state. I am posting the court dockets, filing, and links to information on the GoFundMe that also appears on some “Christian” funding site.
I do also have an opinion and comment regarding the audacity of doing a GoFundMe, etc. It’s pretty simple: she has a need for all of us to pay for what she is doing quite literally and financially. I have no issue with friends and relatives deciding whether or not to support Ms. Redman, but I find it outrageous that she is using a GoFundMe for public funding, which should be for actual need vs. self-created drama funding, and can you understand how I and others might feel? I will note that you can see some of the donors. Very interesting.
This lady has the former School Board Chair who went from being a fiscally responsible individual whom you always didn’t agree with to one flew over the cuckoo’s nest politically singing her praises, and supposedly Doug Monsteriano (of course). Perhaps The Man From Oz will pop up with a miracle cure for her as well? And what about little man Guy Ciarrocchi and Stepford Wife for Totalitarianism Sarah Marvin or Gail I Run For Everything Newman? Have they popped up in support? Or are they steering clear because it might be a little too close to the bone for them? I don’t know, just wondering aloud, which is also allowed.
Apparently this lady did a “press conference” on school district property? And the police were called to escort her off the property? So now the police are bad (see “sic cops” below) for doing their job? Umm if she had done this on a courthouse steps, she would have probably been left alone, correct? But this adds more drama, maybe?
People sue school districts all of the time. Over taxes being raised, evil spying laptops (Lower Merion), and many other things with actual validity in my opinion. This new brand of school board/school district litigation is basically a nice way to drive up costs, you know like the lawsuits that thus far have gone exactly nowhere in multiple district over masking?
Enbedded is what is on the dockets. It is public information. People should know why their school taxes etc go up. Things like this contribute. And because other various and assorted public officials not in the Great Valley School District are involved, also consider that taxpayers pay for that as well.
Finally, this lady is part of the regular circus at Great Valley School Board meetings, complete with her often grotesque story boards or poster boards, correct? She always says she is doing this for her child? Poor child. Wouldn’t therapy for both of them be less expensive? I say poor child, because whatever this parent does will follow an innocent child and well shouldn’t we pray for that child?
“Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress.”
~Isaiah 33:2
Heaven help us. What a world we live in. So many phobias, so little time. What happened to enjoying life as you see fit, without trying to impose your will on others? What happened to it’s a big, big world with a lot of room for lots of different kinds of people? What happened to peace on earth?
I am including the posts from the last couple of years as embedded links. The importance of honoring this day never lessens, but the understanding of what it is to be a Patriot or even an American does.
Our forefathers fought and bled and died for our inalienable rights. Our country dissolved into civil war in the mid-19th century so we could learn those lessons all over again, and end slavery. But here we are in the 21st century and how is the hatred and vitriol seemingly omnipresent in this country so I have to ask, has anyone living in the United States of America learned a god damned thing?
We have hate groups everywhere and they love to live and breed on Facebook. They misuse the use of our American flag and apply it everywhere, including their fakakta organizations stuff. They are more for the pursuit of liberty than anyone, and they will tell you so as they work the freedoms of everyone else BUT themselves. They run for school board, for Congress, for State Representative, State Senator, Governor, U.S. Senator. They file frivolous litigation including in front of Federal Court, and I hope that dangerous nutbag filing against Great Valley School District and whomever else gets her head handed to her.
I don’t have to name any of the aforementioned anyones running for whatever, we all know who they are. But we have to get off our asses between now and the November midterm elections to ensure they are sent packing. And we will have to keep sending what comes after them packing for as long as it takes.
Why do I bring this up in a 9/11 post? Simple. They will use today to whitewash and faux paint what they are all about. Instead, I say to you, use this day to remember all of those Americans who died on 9/11. Multiple races, ethnicities, walks of life, and more. Remember all of those people who died on this day to help protect our freedoms. The least we can do is send these freaks of political nature packing.
Honor America by actually remembering who we are, not what these people try to dictate we must be.
