Color me fascinated.

There is something rather interesting at the bitter end of the agenda for the Wednesday supervisors meeting. Apparently East Whiteland wants to hire a PR firm?

Are you OK with your tax dollars being spent like that? Apparently they must have image issues and could it possibly be the data center and other poor decisions? And they wish to hire a politically obvious firm called Ceisler Media? Can we wonder if they’re going to use a PR firm to be obnoxious towards residents’ opinions they might not agree with? I asked that question because that’s what Lower Merion Township did years ago. Why don’t they have a public information officer like a lot of municipalities have?

It’s a very interesting turn of events and I guess add up that and all the lawyers they currently have employed and makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

When you Google about Ceisler what comes up first? “The firm is widely known for creativity, deep political and media relationships.” ding ding ding. Political operators/damage control. This PR shop has a municipal services arm correct?

Will hiring a PR firm, for example make up for the fact that they don’t have a zoning officer or have a problematic assistant township manager?

Will hiring a PR firm make up for the stupidity and ignorance towards residents that seems to dribble constantly from Supervisor Peter Fixler’s lips? I know from Great Valley Democrat meetings past he did what? Showed up with wifey to sing the politician blues and tries to blame me among others for his lack of popularity? (I mean dude, do you WATCH the meeting replays where you are rude or show disdain for residents? I mean did someone make you do those interviews about your work for an environment and nature centric non-profit entity? Did you seriously think no one would ever wonder how you could work for whom you are employed and then be a data center apologist as an elected official?)

Will hiring a PR firm suddenly make the shady dell acres over at Foote Mineral or Bishop Tube butterflies and unicorns?

Why else do I find the timing interesting? Because of the ballot question that residents officially have on the ballot for this November’s elections. That question is and never has been about politics, it is about township growth, better government and adequate representation. Can’t have that right? The people must be compliant sheeple, right?

What this comes down to is control. And neither party nor East Whiteland Township itself wants to lose control, and isn’t that horse out of the proverbial barn? (Not that there are many barns left because of development in East Whiteland, right?) If East Whiteland gets five total supervisors, people stand a good chance for the first time in years for balance and representation in all matters.

And maybe if East Whiteland get two more supervisors, we can clean house on staff that really shouldn’t be there.

Vote for the government you want, not what the political parties are telling you that you should do. Also, you need to ponder the point that perhaps both parties are for data centers.

So I think that also hiring a PR firm that does “strategic communications”, “brand reputation” and things like social media is ever so timely because face it, those three supervisors don’t want two more do they? I mean did not Board Chairman Scott Lambert actually kind of get into that at a recent Great Valley Democrats meeting in the township building? (The walls maybe do have ears?)

And let’s get real. Members of the Great Valley Democrats literally went to community signing events to stop the ballot question from reaching the ballot (former supervisor Bill Holmes and former VP of ChesCo Dems Jerry Pyne). Now they are saying nothing…but in my humble opinion we know that they are most probably still trying to quite literally stop the public from what they have the right and legal choice to want.

The other thing to note again is the Vacancy Board chair in East Whiteland is Jerry Pyne right? So that makes him a tiebreaker in case a supervisor gets incapacitated, and it also gives him the ability to appoint someone, correct? So is it so far-fetched to think that if something happened he might appoint Bill Holmes again if the opportunity arose?

And the East Whiteland Republicans? They actually have circulated a sample ballot telling Republicans to vote no on the East Whiteland ballot question, haven’t they? Great Valley Democrats are merely being their usual passive aggressive selves. Of course in East Whiteland, both political parties are like Pat from Saturday Night Live years ago. They are more of a homogenous lump than people thing with years of deal making and horse trading just to keep the power from the people.

Think I am kidding? Look at former Supervisor Rich Orlow. He was a Republican who was eventually defeated by Scott Lambert. But then when Bill Holmes had to step down because of work (Vanguard) did he not convince Rich Orlow to switch political parties and become an appointed Democrat Supervisor?

So East Whiteland want s PR firm because they have lost control of their own narrative and they did it to themselves. So they will hire a pit-bull PR shop in an attempt to discredit residents, won’t they? East Whiteland never thought residents would rise up against data centers and them. They never thought residents would organize to question everything AND the data center plan. They never thought residents would organize to get two more supervisors.

East Whiteland residents meet yet another shining example of fear based governance. Take this as your indication that you are trying to do the right thing for your community. This is circling the wagons 101.

Show up at the meeting tomorrow. Ask questions politely. Pack the boardroom. Politely demand better government and come November on election day? Say YES to adding two more supervisors and to answer another question yes there are people interested in stepping up and serving. But three supervisors is not working in East Whiteland. At all. Look no further than the data center of it all, or even old hot topics like Bishop Tube.

I will note that the East Whiteland Republican social media pages are all very Pravda on this bus, showing an actual disconnect to the reality of issues locally….Great Valley Democrats are going for merely limp and insipid on theirs….but also not talking about what matters to residents for real. But in my opinion they are still like a homogenous lump that does no one any good, which is again why they don’t want two more supervisors.

There are other things on the agenda for Wednesday in East Whiteland. I do not see the data center on the agenda, but by all means, please show up and express how you feel about that or any other township issue. I will note there is another liquor license transfer.

For the past few months, we have had a visiting kitty. And not just to my house as this cat had a routine and stopped several places in our immediate neighborhood and very extended neighborhoods further away, as well.

We never fed it, although there were people a road over that had. The cat was in great shape and no tipped ear. I still think it was somebody’s cat that used to just roam.

We tried to figure out where the cat belonged, but never did.

Sadly, little kitty is no more.

One of my neighbors found the cat deceased in a rear corner of the property on the edge of the woods. I thought at first, maybe a fox or coyote had gotten it, however, the cat had no marks on it. I think that means it was poisoned.

Now I doubt that was intentional. I think more likely people that put out poison bait traps for mice are the cause.

This was a beautiful young cat. I literally would see it almost every day. It would hang out and warm its belly on the patio on the lawn or just saunter through like it owned the joint. It would hang out on another neighbor up the road’s deck, and it also hung out in another neighbor’s garage.

Because this cat I don’t ever think was a stray. I’m really sorry for whomever is missing it. We just didn’t know who you were to tell you where your cat was wandering too while it was alive.

I think I will reiterate a plea I make often: if you’re going to trap mice that’s fine. Just use old-fashioned traps with peanut butter. Don’t put the poison out because it affects other wildlife and domestic animals.

I will miss this cat, although I never actually petted it. I would see it out in the garden and woods when I was outside. I would literally just say hi to it as it sauntered by.

And again, this is not only a cautionary tale of keep an eye on what your pets get into, but keep an eye about where they wander.

So as I hinted this morning, in the-let’s-harass-former-female-employees-and-residents of it all in West Vincent there is an update. Mind you I am allowed to have my opinions on what this township is doing and what the elected officials are ALLOWING.

So this happened:

So….West Vincent blinked? I wondered if this was the direction it was headed when I saw on October 1st that the drooling idiots over in West Vincent miraculously realized that they had access to their Instagram account or accounts?

MMMkay, so then this gem this afternoon:

First of all, they are STILL misspelling her name. And she is not jut a former employee, she lives in the township (but I digress.) But what do we expect from Tommy Ryan who posted it?

STATEMENT OF WEST VINCENT TOWNSHIP AS TO THE TOWNSHIP OWNED FACEBOOK PAGE

On August 5, 2025, Christina Casey’s employment with West Vincent Township was terminated.

As is commonly done when employment is separated, the Township immediately worked to close or update Township business accounts that were created by, controlled by, or in the name of Ms. Casey. This included accounts with various State agencies, Amazon, Zoom, and others, including Facebook.

In the weeks to follow Ms. Casey did not assist the Township in its efforts to regain control of the Township’s official Facebook page, even though she remained an Administrator of the Facebook page.

On September 23, 2025, seven weeks after her termination, Ms. Casey retained access to the Township Facebook page and deleted information about a road resurfacing project.

The Township then began its efforts to work with Meta (the owner of Facebook) to remove Ms. Casey as administrator of the Township Facebook page. The Township’s efforts through Meta have been unsuccessful.

In January 2026 Ms. Casey stated she had transferred administrative authorizations to Township staff on two occasions – January 2 and January 15. The Township engaged a third-party IT consultant to review the Township’s email system and all available Facebook settings, and on January 16, 2026, the consultant reported that no evidence of administrative authorizations having been transmitted to the Township was found.

Still unable to access its Facebook page, the Township inquired again of Ms. Casey through her attorney to gain access. In response, on April 29, 2026, counsel for Ms. Casey stated his client had “no further interest to attempt to assist the Township”. Ms. Casey took this position even though she remained the Administrator of the West Vincent Township Facebook page.

With all avenues to access the Facebook page exhausted, the Township sought the help of the court system. On September 3, 2026, the Township filed a Complaint in Equity and a Petition for Preliminary Injunction to ask the court to compel Ms. Casey’s cooperation. In response to the Township’s legal filings, the Township learned for the first time that her role as Administrator was removed on June 30, 2026.

Consequently, because Ms. Casey is no longer an Administrator of the Township Facebook page, she presently can be of no help to the Township, and the Township has now withdrawn its Petition for Preliminary Injunction against Ms. Casey.

The Township’s Facebook page is vitally important to the Township administration in allowing the Township to communicate with its followers to provide needed information about Township events. The Township has started a new Facebook page – WestVincentTownshipPA – and directs the followers of the original Township Facebook page to this new page.

Can I just say it out loud and not in my head? That West Vincent Manager Tommy Ryan is a freak and an idiot? I have other more pejorative and aptly descriptive curse words I would love to apply, but don’t wish to be rude to my readers.

If Facebook is so “vitally important” he should have learned how to use it while Kristina was still employed, yes?

And point of fact: Kristina did indeed try to assist with turning the page over to someone, hell anyone else in West Vincent, and that manager was TOO DUMB TO FIGURE IT OUT.

I guess there was no mansplaination available or they were out of Facebook For Dummies?

Yes except for real there is a REAL book, and this is latest edition and can be purchased on Amazon.

So basically, Manager Tommy Ryan says he initiated court proceedings because he didn’t know how to use Facebook? And the West Vincent Township Stupidvisors are ok with him doing this to a woman who used to be a employee and is a resident and taxpayer? Ok I can’t hold back…. are you f-cking kidding me right now?

West Vincent is known for the ridiculous, but this is astounding. And also very wrong. West Vincent Supervisors might as well just say they condone harassing their employees and residents.

And here is what I think they should do (but won’t): fire the manager and current solicitor. I do not know how much that solicitor has billed but that manager? $160K a year to harass a woman because of his own lack of knowledge and inability to admit he screwed up?

Here is what I think about the stupidvisors:

Chair Dana Allen: Weak, always looks like she is going to cry but is that because she constantly gets cut off and mansplained to by staff? Whatever the case may be, she is a WOMAN and has as chair allowed this to happen to ANOTHER WOMAN so she should RESIGN.

Vice Chair Bernie Couris: given his health issues which are no joke, he should have left the party quite a while ago. As it stands, he literally looks like he is in a stupor at every meeting. I would say he was an enlightened Democrat but at the end of the day he’s just a typical West Conshy former Republican politician and should also RESIGN. My opinion is he no longer gives a sheit, can’t you agree?

Then there is the new guy. His name is Sean Clark and he says almost nothing and is rumored to have taken a supervisor’s gig because he wants to steppingstone to a higher office which is probably why he doesn’t do much other than take up space, right? Well at least one of his kids is a girl so if he’s ok with a woman being treated by the township where he is an elected official and sworn to take care of his constituents no matter their sex, age, race, or gender then he deserves to be haunted into a very brief political career yes?

And residents need to start going to meetings. None of you should find your hard earned tax dollars being spent on utter bullsheit like this. But then again, this is a township where many of the residents don’t really think they deserve better do they?

Show and tell time East Whiteland or it’s all just more bullshit, except it will be that in the end anyway.

Possibly related? Apparently there are a lot of problems in house in East Whiteland Township. Could it be the management style or the management itself?

I am quite honestly sick of the municipal soft shoe here, aren’t all of you? This project IMHO will be worse and more destructive that Foote Mineral the EPA superfund site it’s being built on. Note I said in my humble opinion/IMHO.

Also IMHO? They should have said no and could have said no when Charlie the fig wanted a hydrogen hub in West Whiteland way back when right?

Now stockbroker turned developer Charlie is getting pissy on his LinkedIn and seemingly defensive according to this screenshot isn’t he? I ditched LinkedIn as a useless social media appendage a few years ago now, so this was sent to me as it is currently circulating as curious, right?

The eternal puzzle of course is how is there work going on over there at Foote if they don’t have the green light letters from AQUA or PECO? And crushing what exactly and does the township, PA DEP, and EPA give a f😡ck?

Of course what is most amusing about this LinkedIn rant are this dude’s assertions that without his data center we will have no cell phones, no Internet, Netflix, etc etc? Oh ok we’ll wait for the proof that his ever changing project is for all of that right? I mean especially since we have all of these things without his community and environmental killing project now right? And I guess he and big orange are best buddies since he makes a misleading national security statement?

Is he like freaking Moses with the electronic Ten Commandments or what?

Yesterday I wandered into my favorite haunt to celebrate day 1 of the first anniversary weekend of the rebirth and rejuvenation of a beloved local business.

Now under the direction of Kristin Smith of Smithfield Barn fame, it is an absolute wonderland of antiques, vintage finds, and artisan crafts people. With Kristin at the helm, it is an ever changing kaleidoscope of wonderful!

Yes I essentially have frequent flyer miles, but I love the place!

This weekend, there are special treats every day to celebrate this market. Antique markets used to be plentiful in this area, now they are more scarce than hens’ teeth. this market is shopping local and it’s wonderful.

A comment on social media led me to take a little dive into the September meeting of East Pikeland Township. Please note I have renamed it East Pettyland Township. and before the old dog, Ron Graham gets his knickers in a twist, covered under my first amendment rights. (just wanted to save him on his solicitor bills since he said at this meeting that he’s basically has lawyers and stuff around because he’s being “targeted” or he’s a “target”.

So this was the comment that made me go look at their most recent meeting, which thankfully are now being recorded by residents.

Also, at last months meeting Ron said he has to have the lawyers around for everything, because he is being “targeted”. Then implied I am the one targeting him 🤣 So around here, when you ask elected officials questions, it means you are targeting them. If you need a lawyer present at all times to cover your ass, that is on you, and highly suspicious.

It appears in the above snippet of the meeting in public comment. And I have to ask is it no longer good to be king? The option is dude can retire, right? But then he’s no longer king so heavy as the head that wears the crown I guess?

Other things of note? The police reports apparently they have a lot of domestic and mental health calls? Is there something in the water? I mean, I guess we can ask that question since this township is home to its own super fund fun, right?

Also, they seem to be missing a zoning officer now and why did she resign? Or leave?

East Pikeland a.k.a. East Pettyland doesn’t seem to like that the public has taken an interest in where they call home do they? And why is it every time someone asks a question there’s always this like pat response (paraphrasing) it’s not personal, it’s business?
